You need to follow the instructions for this to work. But it does 100% work very well. I’ve only tried it on 3-7 day old tan. Put it on, rub it in well while you do, let it sit, get in the shower or bath with an exfoliating mitt or just hand towel/ cloth and it will come right off very quickly. It’s much easier than just physically exfoliating alone without this product, you barely have to rub hard at all it’s much less tedious. I have just finished a bottle and I’m going to continue to keep purchasing this. I don’t see any point in leaving it on longer than the recommended time as it won’t have any extra effect or make it come off over time you do have to do some work yourself. I did find that my tan also lasted longer than when I don’t use this, it does claim to be a primer and help the tan last longer and I believe it helps but it’s hard to tell. If anything, I can say it does help it fade much more evenly 100%. My tan will still look good 7 days later although just lighter than when it was fresh. I don’t know how well it works to remove non st tropez tanning products but I imagine it doesn’t matter since they all have the same dha base.

Doesn’t work for me
I have tried lots of tan removers and unfortunately this was not one that worked for me. It smells lovely so I wish it would have worked better but after applying it and leaving it for a while it did nothing :(.
