The trick is to warm up with fingers before use then keep massaging into face until the green goes away. I wear it for several hours before washing.

not bad, but also not worth

I bought this as a mini in a set with the avocado eye cream (recommend) but this is just meh. First, I would say it is not worth the price, as this is not an everyday moisturizer, and I only use this after a heavy duty chemical exfoliator to ensure my face doesn't dry out and get irritated. Second, this is hard to apply. I have seen some people using a facial mask applicator, but I refuse to buy one, so using it with your fingers alone requires a hefty bit of rubbing in your fingers to make the consistency less like a chunky, unripe avocado and resemble something closer to a thick face mask. You only need a pea sized amount. Third, my skin does look awesome after using this. No harsh fragrance and very nice finish. just too expensive and too complex application for me.

Great mask

I give it a 4 because they need to explain how to use better. You put it in you your hands and rub until soft, then slather it on your face. Leave it on for desired time and wash off. It leaves your face so sort and amazing

After second use of this mask I really love it. The first time I tried this product it was hard to apply and I felt like it did nothing. The second time of usage, I applied it to my face with a mask brush and it was easy to apply and i left it on for 20min. After rinsing, my face was so smooth and even, my pores looked smaller, my skin was very glowy and dewy looking. I would suggest applying the mask with a brush if you did like the mask in first usage.

Don’t buy it

It’s hard to apply, I would recommend to use your hands. It really doesn’t do anything special. I have a dry skin and I though at the very least this would leave my skin hydrated, but no.

At first not gonna lie, the texture was chunky and very difficult to apply with a mask applicator that I use for all my masks. So I decided to try my hands, clean of course, and I had much better results. I will say after washing it off my face felt amazing. Definitely did what it said and more. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I do have to use my hands to get and even application. Aside from that though definitely love this product.

Texture and application - not so good

I love Kiehl's and was excited to try this product. The texture was not what I was expecting. It's both thick and mashable, rather than a smooth or creamy texture. It makes it difficult to apply, kind of leaves both bigger chunks and a very thin layer.

This was a pretty good mask although it is extremely thick and hard to move around. It was a good mask but I think it may have made me break out. it was just ok.

Soothing and Moisturizing

I love it for soothing and moisturizing. I emulsify it between my hands before applying it, and it leaves my skin feeling quenched and smooth
