do not waste your money

This doesn’t work at all. What a let down. It doesn’t even slightly take off the spray tan.. nothing.

I used this one day after applying dark self tanning drops with moisturizer to my arms. My elbows were a little streaky so I applied this remover. The key is to really let it sit on your skin for at least five minutes before scrubbing. Once it sits, get in the shower and it comes right off!

Save your money! This left me hilariously streaky and ORANGE. I’ve gotten better results with the $10 drug store stuff mixed with lotion to be honest.

Patchy, doesnt work

I was so excited to get this and was so let down. This stuff did not do ANYTHING. I scrubbed forever and my legs look 100% worse than before i used this product. Complete waste of money.

Probably the worst product I’ve ever bought. Overpriced and does not work at all.

Really Works!

I always exfoliate really well the day before a new tan and include this in part of my routine now. I hadn’t tanned in over 3 weeks and thought my last tan was gone already, but following the instructions on the bottle, I was amazed to see a lot of color come off of me in the shower. So it does indeed work! I got off some color I didn’t even know was on there and now have a completely blank canvas for a new tan. I’m honestly not sure why this product has such low reviews because I find it to work really well. Maybe not everyone is following the instructions? It does say you have to wait at least 3 days before using on a tan, and you have to wait for it to saturate your skin for at least 5m before washing off in the shower.

2nd Time buyer

This is my second time purchasing this product. I frequently get spray times and always have a hard time getting my tan off. I discovered this product and it definitely helped me out. The first time it worked flawlessly. After sitting on my skin for about 3 minutes my spray tan was melting off. Unfortunately it did not work as well the second time I purchased it, it needed to sit on me for a lot longer and I needed to apply it over and over until the bottle was nearly gone. It did end up working and this is the only product I would purchase for removing a spray tan.

Awful!

This is only meant to be used on tans "at least three days old". I bought this thinking I could use it to fix spots and areas that got too dark during application. I was wrong and had to call in sick today because I accidentally fell asleep with IOP tanner on. When I woke up I thought, oh well I have the eraser to remove it; only it didn't removed it at all!!! A lot of money for something to remove an "old" tan. I'm now stuck with an orange face for at least three days??! :*(

simply does not work

I self tan usually twice a week and have been doing so for over a year. I’m pretty confident in my abilities at this point and the thing I struggle with most is when I want to remove my self tan. When I saw this I was so excited and it was always sold out so I thought wow everyone wants it and it seems like a great idea so it must be great! I drove to a mall 45 minutes away from my house to buy the product because I saw it was in stock there. Used it immediately when I got home because I was going on vacation shortly after and I. D.o.n.t like having to self tan on vacation. I followed the directions exactly and there was literally no change in my skin tone (self tan). I hadn’t self tanned before that day for at least 5 days because I knew I was going to want to remove before vacation. So I tried it again the next day, again following the instructions exactly thinking I must’ve done something wrong the day before, and still nothing. I just couldn’t get this to work for me and had to return it. The idea is there and I haven’t seen anything like this, hopefully they can rework the formula. I returned it.

Not worth it

Smells great! However, it didn't remove my tan, it barely faded it. I accidently slept in an Express tanner about a week ago and it turned me pretty orange becuase it was on way too long. I bought this to try to help. The sprayer leaks when you don't hold it completely upright, which is hard to do when spraying the back of your thighs. I lathered, left it on and then shaved my legs in the shower to help get more color off and still it only faded the color maybe half a shade. I think a cream formula would be a lot easier to apply as well! I love isle of paradise products but this one was severely disappointing I posted a before and after photo as well. They look the same

Didn’t feel it worked any better than exfoliate

I was not a fan of the IOP tanner itself the first time around, so I purchased this with hopes to remove it & try again/use as needed. I did not find this helped me get the tanner off anymore than an exfoliate would have.
