A Calm Comforting Barrier Cream for Stressed Skin

As a busy mom, I am usually skeptical when I try a new moisturizer because my skin can be picky. This was my first time using the Erborian Centella Barrier Cream (gifted), and I started reaching for it because my face has been feeling stressed and tight lately from weather changes, not enough sleep, and just life. It feels really comforting the second it goes on. The texture is rich but not heavy, and it melts in instead of sitting on top of my skin. I was worried it might feel greasy, but it did not. It left my skin feeling hydrated and calm. I have been using it morning and night for about a week, and the biggest change is how much less irritated my skin feels. The redness I usually get around my cheeks and nose looks more toned down, and I am not getting that dry, irritated feeling by mid-day. It also layers well under makeup, which matters because I do not have time to deal with pilling when I am trying to get everyone out the door. I love that it is one simple step that makes my skin feel more balanced and comfortable. Very hydrating

I like the hydration...

Calming and nourishing

I loooove this cream! As someone that deals with rosacea, I am onboard for anything that helps strengthen my skin barrier, so I love the ceramides in here. Plus the centella asiatica helps reduce redness. And the texture is really nice. It’s fairly thick and feels super nourishing, but it’s not heavy at all. It’s a great balance!

After using this product my skin barrier has been very hydrated! I use this product every morning and night, making sure I use it regularly for my skincare routine. You can use this step as an everyday moisturizer and pre-step for makeup. This is a soft skin barrier product, perfect for those who have sensitive skin. A little of this product goes a long way, especially perfect for traveling.

I have been using this moisturizer for about two weeks and from the time that I have used it has become one of my favorite face moisturizer to use literally top number one.
