[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] First off, I love the smell of this oil. It’s almost like a warm vanilla and it smells lovely. It’s not too heavy and don’t leave my hair feeling greasy at all. It was nice and shiny and still manageable.

Luxurious Hair Oil

It absorbs so nicely into my hair with absolutely no greasy residue. My hands don’t even feel oily after applying it. It really helps to tame the frizz and adds a healthy shine to my hair. Oh, and the scent is soooo good. It’s subtle, but luxurious.

I’ve always had thick hair (although it’s thinned out some with age, it’s deceivingly thick still) so I can take an oil but I HATE oils that make it feel weighed down or greasy. This oil doesn’t do that at all and I like that I don’t have to worry I may use a drop too much and ruin my hair for the day. The scent is super light and nice and spa-like but doesn’t stay in your hair by any stretch if you’re scent averse. It also doesn’t make your hands all oily and take forever to get off so that’s a huge plus for me lol. I honestly really have no complaints, it’s a nice oil that’s super easy and low maintenance to use. My husband loves a good hair oil and has actually been using this lately over his usual preferred brand!

This Shu Umera Art of Hair Nourishing Protective Hair Oil does everything you need. I use it in damp hair before I blow dry for heat protection and shine. I use it on freshly styled hair to add definition and shine to dry hair. It has a light scent that I have received compliments on. It holds my style all day and the pump is easy to use. Every product from this brand I have used has been lovely and this is no different!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I like this hair oil before blowdrying my thin color treated hair. My son has long wild and unruly bleached hair. I like this oil as a detangler for him. He is tender headed so doesn't like tugging on his knots.

Great for fine hair

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This has been a great oil for my fine hair. It has added shine and reduced frizz without extra weight. It has a light scent, but it is nothing that is distracting during the day. I cannot use it 2 days in a row unless I have washed my hair in between because it does get heavy after a few times.

Great multi functional hair oil

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I really like this hair oil to remove frizz and keep my hair silky and soft. I prefer to use it on damp hair to get a soft air dry because I don’t use heat tools very often, and this is great for tha. Sometimes I put it on my dry hair as well to smooth out frizz which is does beautifully without weighing down my hair or leaving any reside. I understand you can use it as a pre cleanse as well which is cool but I haven’t tried it yet, but I really appreciate the multi-functionality!

A must to help with frizz

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I have been using this nonstop since receiving it. I have very frizzy, thick, wavy hair and this works perfectly for me. I use about 1-2 pumps of oil and it absorbs really nicely in my hair and doesn’t leave it looking greasy. I have been using for about 3-4 weeks and have noticed a difference in how much more manageable my hair has been and have way less frizz. I will be repurchasing.

Softer, Smoother, Shinier Hair

Florida humidity can cause a lot of hair frizz, but this protective hair oil makes my hair look more smooth and polished. Just one pump was plenty for my long hair. I love how healthy and shiny my hair looks after applying the hair oil without making my hair look greasy. The scent is subtle and pleasant and my hair felt soft to the touch and not sticky. I apply this before using my hair dyer to protect my hair from getting damaged. This hair oil is now part of my hair routine.
