WAY TO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT IT IS. I am fair like NW20 in mac or buttercup in becca foundation. This gives you a slight glow and wont last at all.

I love st tropez and wanted to love this but it smells SOOOO BADDD!! LIke not even like normal smelly tanners, like something worse and the smell lingers on your skin all day..

Don’t do it

Gross, messy and sticky. I couldn’t last an hour before showering it off. I love dry oils so I thought this would be a great idea. I showered and still smell it. Waste of money

Probably not for lighter skin tones or newbies

I have medium skin that tans easily and decided to give this a try, since most self tanners work really well with my skin tone (even when coming out of winter with very pasty skin). For starters, This stuff is very tricky to apply (work very quickly and blend well!) and it does have a weird or odd smell (I think lemongrass which others have noted is very spot on). It’s not a chemically smell but it’s very overpowering. Not terrible, but not pleasant. Definitely already regret applying this with my bare hands...despite scrubbing immediately after applying only to my legs, my hands are clearly gonna be a bit orange. The color is likely to be way way too dark for most light to light-medium skin tones, esp. if you have no base tan, natural or self applied. I’ve used many self tanners and this one is hands down the most difficult to apply...it dries very quickly and needs to be blended very well on lighter skin tones. I would suggest starting on an area you can cover up to test it. If you’re already tan or darker skinned (and have some skill with applying self tanning oils, ie not the gradual lotions or sprays), it will likely work great.

AWFUL! The smell is so terrible and unbearable and it makes me feel filthy. It applies super streaky and takes a lot of product to get to the desired colour. Does not look natural or hold up well. Will destroy your sheets and all the clothes you wear after applying it. Have used this about 6 times now and I just can’t stand it. For a luxury brand, this is a pretty terrible product.

This self tanner is a bit messy to apply and difficult too because the tint can be hard to see in some areas. It also comes off easily I woke up to my sheets stained and noticed after sweating that my sweat was tanner. It does give you great color and fast results though. I do t know how long they last but they claim to last 10 days and I have yet to do the shower exfoliating test to see if it withstands.

I love this oil. It applies very easily and does not streak. Probably the best thing about it is it fades evenly. While I do love t things I will note just as FYI, it is an oil and very runny so it takes some getting used to. It does smell, not like a typical tanner but still not good. It does not give a dark tan. I’m very fair with auburn hair so I have light skin, this oil gives me a beautiful, natural golden color. If you want a natural golden color and not a super dark tan then this is a great option.

Great tanning oil but terrible smell.

I have to say this is a pretty great product. It is my fourth self tanning product. I had only left it on for just over 4 hrs and got pretty nice light tan colour. I have to agree with other reviews that the smell is quite bad. Even after showering, there is that tanning smell that remains On your skin. I was surprised at the amount used on one application. I’m guessing I would get a good 6-7 uses out of one bottle. I did not see and difference with the glitter aspect of this oil though. I applied with a mit and it did dry rather quickly. My only complaint is the smell. There is no reason for such a terrible smell after application and after washing product off. It did not make me sick so far but it is very annoying.

Horrible smell - and not the typical self tanner scent. It was so bad I couldn’t stand to use it. Also very messy!

This product gives very nice tan color for my fair skin. Dries pretty fast and easy for application. Same time has huge minus .Its leaves all my cloth dirty. My towels and bed all orange even after I had shower few times.

I love almost all of St Tropez products & I wanted to love this because of the shimmer, but it actually turned me pretty orange. I am fair & freckled, but none of the other St Tropez products do that to me. I gave it away
