Mangosteen Oval Soap - Savon artisanal ovale

Too drying :(

Smells good (though not actually like mangosteen, which is my favourite fruit). Sadly, like most regular soaps, it was too drying for my skin. I was persuaded to buy because it was described as non-drying, but I found it quite moisture-stripping. It does lather well but is expensive for what it is.

Fresh Soap is awesome

The Fresh soap line Is lovely - it lasts forever and is good down to the last bit. I prefer a bit stronger scent than this one. Go for the Patchouli which isn't like a patchouli oil but amazing.

I use this to clean my brushes because it works just as well as the solid beauty cleanser. It doesn't really smell fruity just clean/fresh.

Waste of money

1 star for soft, creamy lather. That is the only positive as the scent was very, very faint! It left no scent on the body after use either.

Pretty bummed

I religiously use soap as body wash and have never been so disappointed! I figured with such good reviews, this soap was going to be a safe purchase. There really isn't much smell to it. I generally like light soaps but not so light that I cannot smell anything. Occasionally I get a whiff of flowers but otherwise I get nothing, if not a waxy/petroleum smell. It also leaves my skin pretty dry afterwards which I usually do not struggle with when using bar soaps. The lather is just ok. Wouldn't recommend

Soap was great!

I loved this soap. And it thoroughly cleanses your skin without stripping it. Will purchase again

No More Post Shower Itching

I've suffered from post shower itching from the time I was old enough to pronounce my name correctly! I would itch like crazy after every shower some showers were worse than others. I am 27 yrs old now and I've finally found a bar soap that doesn't make me itch!! This scent I wasn't too crazy about but I like it. I want to try all the different scents I love them that much! Also my skin feels crazy soft and has a very peculiar smoothness to it. I love it.

love this soap!

Lathers like crazy, don't want to get out of the shower. Light pleasant smell. (I have heavy smells, and never even wear perfume.) Bar is huge, lasts forever. Absolutely worth the price.

lasts for months!

This giant and amazing soap lasts for months! It is the most beautiful scent! Mangosteen is my favorite and it is hard to find. Cleans very well without drying skin out. It is not too fruity for men either. xoxo

Love the scent, it is a really big bar of soap - much larger than I thought once I unwrapped it and it lathers fantastically.

good cleanser bar

The bar of soap is very nice to have in the shower. Fills up the shower more because it's big, but losing space isn't wonderful. At first I thought it would smell like a mango because mangosteen sounds like it would smell like a mango,but it actully smells like a apple than a mango.I like this bar of soap though! It's awkward how big it is. Everytime my friends sleepover they LOVE the smell, but they get confused because of it's abnormal size. I recomend this to any one who is just starting to get into spa and facial products.
