Had high hopes for this primer since I use Pat McGrath make up. But this purchase was not a good one. Seemed like there was hardly any product in the tube and it went on so light I had to double up when applying it. Don’t waste your money

Disappointed

This did next to nothing on my oily eye lids which is a real disappointment since the eye liner is so great. don't recommend.

Just don’t bother..

What a mess— I’ve put it away & tried again so many times but even with setting powder nothing stayed put (mascara , eyeshadow, liner, or brow pencil). I’ve had some embarrassing workdays because of this product. &domt

Not great

I’ve had better. It’s sadly disappointing for the price. I keep searching for a replacement to UD’s eyeshadow primer cuz I swear they’ve changed their formula.

Great primer

Surprised by the other negative reviews as this product works really well for my hooded eyes. The trick I find is allowing enough time for the product to dry down before putting eyeshadow ontop and it doesn’t crease and keeps eyeshadows on longer!

When it came to shadow primers, I have been a faithful smashbox and urban decay fan for years. The rep at Sephora, however, highly recommended the Pat McGrath primer so I gave it a go. It’s been months now and I will not be purchasing this again. Firstly it comes in an all black glass tube, so you have no idea how much product you get to start with. So while you’re using it and you think you’re running low, you can’t tell if there’s anymore product left. Since the tube is glass, you also can’t use this product all the way down to the last drop. It’s likely I’ll be throwing it away before I get to the bottom of the product because I can’t see what’s inside. The product also did not prevent shadow/liner fallout so I often found myself wiping away shadow or liner from the bottom of my lids. Again I will never purchase this again.

It makes my eyelid really oily. For the price, I like NARS eyeshadow primer better and cheaper.

Way too wet and oily

I have been using Paul & Joe for years but I can’t find it anywhere. I was so hoping I had found a replacement but unfortunately not. This is very oily and doesn’t dry - just too wet for a nice eyeshadow application

Stays ALL DAY.

I was skeptical because of the price but that’s how I always feel with PML and then I always LOVE the product. This is the best eyeshadow primer I’ve ever used. Pictures is 14 hours after applying eyeshadow using primer

Not good at all

Terrible! Only got 1hr before my eyeshadow creased significantly! UD (the original) gives me 10-12 hours and I thought this could beat it…horrible reaction on my eyelids too!

New fave!

I’m actually in awe of this product. I have deep-set eyes and my eyeliner CONSTANTLY transfers to my upper lid. I’ve tried many primers to stop this issue, but none have worked…until this. I gave it a few days and tried different shadows and methods of application, and it passed each test with flying colors. I was hesitant to try to this product at first since it’s on the pricier side, but wow. It works. I feel like it also makes my eyeshadow look better than usual. All in all, a great product that I’m so, so glad to have tried.

Nice packaging but doesn’t do much for my oily lids. Prevents creasing for a few hours.
