Smells wonderful

I really love the smell it makes me think of being in a Victorian English rose garden. I would definitely buy this and recommend it to others if they enjoy the smell of roses. My daughters even love it so much they hide it from me so they can use it!

Lovely scent

I've used this for about 2 weeks now. It is a light lovely floral scent. I tend to avoid florals as I think of my grandma's perfume. This is definitely a clean modem light floral. Very pretty. The scent lady's well.

Long lasting scent

This perfume definitely smells like rose. It does have a strong undertone to the smell that I can’t identify but that wears off leaving a rose smell that lasts all day. This scent reminds me of something an older person would wear and not really suited to my tastes.

Smells divine!!!

I really enjoyed the Elizabethan Rose from Penhailgon's. What I liked most about this product was how wonderful it smelled. After smelling this perfume, you'll float away to a magical place. It smells like you are in a garden filled with roses. The scent stays on a for a good portion of your day. It doesn't fade quickly. I got a lot of compliments! I will recommend this product to my family and friends.

Pleasant scent

Perfumes are always difficult to read the reviews on and give reviews on. It's such a personal choice. I will say the fragrance was pleasant with a floral note and lasted through the day. I would definitely recommend checking it out in store and to use the tester to see if you like it.

Great light smell!!!

I really enjoy this product from Penhaligon's product line. The smell is not so strong & not so light it's just right! It lasts all day long, it's perfect to wear either at work or for a night on the town because it's not so strong. The design of the packaging is very beautiful & elegant. Reminds me of something from the era's of when we had Kings & Queens so very sophisticated & delicate. England of course does an amazing job bottling their product & capturing the amazing scent of their Elisabethan Rose perfectly.

Elisabethan Rose does smell like a rose

I receive the vial in mail about a week ago. I could smell the perfume through the packaging. The smell was definitely rose with a hint of something else. I will be looking for this in a store , so I can sample better.

Smells amazing

I enjoy a long lasting fresh fragrance.My current perfume doesn't seem like it lasts long at all.I smelled Penhaligon's - Elisabethan Rose in a store and had to have it.A light fresh fragrance that lasts all day.I got so many complimemts the first day i wore it

My new favorite spring/summer scent

I usually wear fruity scented lotions that don't last very long. So when I began wearing this Elisabethan Rose perfume my husband said I smelled pretty. That's when I knew it was going to become my signature scent for the spring and summer. I really love it and feel prettier while wearing it. Even though I am not going to events during the pandemic to show off my new perfume, I do wear it at home to brighten my mood. Besides, receiving compliments and extra attention from my husband is really all that I need at this crazy time in our lives.

Too small

This product was not the best smelling perfume to me so I was not impressed with it, the size was so small and was not impressed with it at all. Would not recommend to friends just because I don't like the smell

Does Penhaligon's perfume need an introduction?

Imagine getting ready for datenight with the man that you love. The one that you are going to marry. You've paid attention to every little detail. Tonight is the night. It's Spring. You have just gotten out of the tub, got dressed in a naughty two piece under the comparitively conservative sun dress you bought this past weekend, and you are about to walk out the door when you remember to spray your favorite perfume on your body. In ALL those places he is SURE to get close to. This perfume is that scent. The most beautiful blurry line between girl next door naive and a sexy stripper who has some bills to pay...this is a very pleasant scent. Seriously seductive and yet not too offensively bold. I found it to be a very nice surprise to smell this perfume hours later floating through the air as I was doing mundane tasks around the house. It would bring me back to my room as I was just getting ready. The English Rose is much different than any other rose I've ever had the opportunity or pleasure to smell. It is intoxicating and yet so simple. Complicated and also unforgettable. This is definitely one perfume that I have to give 5 stars. If I could give it more, I would. Penhaligon's perfume is top notch, and I can understand the cult following of this brand. They are meticulous with their choice in scents, and how we respond to each one. The perfume is an excellent experience that one must try to fully understand.

Strong rose smell.

I don’t think I would actually buy this one. I am not really a fan of too much floral smells, especially rose. This has a strong rose smell. It’s a light spray. No strong alcohol smell. It leaves a lingering floral scent.
