Active Algae Lightweight Moisturizer - Gel hydratant léger visage

I was excited to try this, as I use the Kora Oil and love it- but this product was just not working for me- the smell was rancid, it smelled like something rotting, and as much as I tried, the smell was too strong to ignore. I also found the consistency to be too liquid. I did use for about a week, and I did not see any difference in skin tone. Maybe I needed to use it longer to see a difference, but I could not tolerate the smell any longer.

Not for me

this stuff made my skin so sticky. I couldn’t keep my hair off my face. It never seemed to go away. It stayed sticky. I cannot deal with that at all

New addition that I love!

I do not write reviews about any products but decided to about this moisturizer in hopes that it may help others on the fence deciding to purchase or not. I have naturally oily/sensitive skin but it does develop some dryness due to using clindamycin/benzoyl/retin-a...this is lightweight enough to wear day or night and offers enough hydration without adding oil...there is an earthy fragrance to it but nothing I couldn't get past. Kora Berry eye cream is also the only eye cream that doesn't irritate my eye area...love this line!

I must be the only one who likes this as I actually find the smell wonderful. It is also non-greasy for combination oily skin so I would recommend this

Best moisturizer hands down. It smoothed my skin and I can tell the difference with consistent use.

Smell, texture and performance are poor

Got as a sample and the smell is awful, rancid and nauseating. My skin also felt slightly irritated. Sometimes natural products go bad quickly and it’s like that’s what happened here.

Best moisturizer I’ve used hand down. I started using some beauty products that ended up giving my cheeks texture. This helped get rid of it and my skin always looks so plump and glowy when I use it with out the greasy look

Smells Gross

The packaging is really pretty. The smell is horrendous. The product does not absorb well. I didn’t see or feel any skin care benefits. I was going to use it up on my legs, but my four year told me I smelled so into the trash it went!

I wanted to love since it is EWG verified, but it is awful. The smell is absolutely horrendous. I could get past the smell because it is a clean product, but it did not work for my normal skin. My skin would get red and irritated with each application, and it would create all these little red bumps. Def not worth it.

Smells awful, does not blend/absorb well, and irritates my skin

Brown Skin

This did nothing for my skin. No improvement whatsoever. I am almost done with the bottle and used it daily.
