Musky, woody scent

I received a sample of Jo Malone Amber Labdanum Cologne Intense and applied it first in the evening before a date night with my husband. I typically lean towards more floral or fruity scents, so this was a departure for me, as it leans towards a more woody scent that is more masculine than I am used to. It is a very intense scent, as the name implies, so a little goes a long way! It is also very long lasting. My husband didn't hate it, but he agreed with me that it smelled more like something he should wear, so I gave it to him -- he has not used it yet though. Sexy, Warm, Masculine

Overall, this is a strong, powerful scent that feels best suited for evening wear or a night out. I wore it a few times during the winter, and it worked especially well in colder weather. It felt comfortable on my skin and layered beautifully with other fragrances without becoming overwhelming. Amber Lovers Rejoice!

I received this product for free from Jo Malone for testing and review purposes. I loved this perfume. I would warn that it’s extremely amber-forward and a little goes a long way. That’s exactly what I love about it though. I would describe it as more of an evening scent for most people, but if you’re into moody and developed scents then this could be an everyday go-to choice. Overall would highly recommend!

Very strong, masculine with depth

I thought this scent was alright. It’s technically unisex, but in my opinion it leans slightly more masculine due to the woody and ambery notes. Upon application, it has a pretty strong cologne scent. It’s pretty musky and piney, and I found that these notes remained pretty consistent throughout my time wearing the scent. It dries down quickly and has a fairly heavy smell. It has a strong projection and lasted for the entire day, even after showering. One spray is more than enough for this scent. As it dried down and dissipated, I did smell more of the herbal and gourmand notes, which became a little more smoky. In general, I’m not a huge fan of these scents, so I will likely not continue to use this, but I know several people (masc and fem) who would love this. Warm & cozy smell

I received this product for free from Jo Malone for testing and review purposes. The Jo Malone London Amber Labdanum Cologne Intense gives off a warm cozy smell. The notes are: Bitter Orange (top), Labdanum (heart/main), and Amber (base). As the cologne settles, it has a slight similar scent to Jo Malone's english oak and redcurrant, due to the oak. It is too bad that it is discontinued because it was one of my favorites from Jo Malone. It has great staying power and lasts the whole day. I really enjoyed this scent. It is the perfect scent for autumn and winter. I would definitely recommend.

Great Smell

Loving this warm and smoky scent. I think this could be easy to combine with a woman's perfume and layer. It's long-lasting and may I say quite strong, so beware. I tend to lean more on soft scents, so this might not be so much for you if that's the case. My husband thought it was masculine and long-lasting as well. He loves wearing it on his wrist and neck. It played quite well with its own scent, so that was a plus for us. Jo Malone products always feel so high-end and luxurious. Great gift option for anyone who is a perfume/cologne enthusiast. Amazing scent

I received this product as a free sample and it smells great. It is definitely a masculine scent but I feel like it can still be used for anyone. It’s light and refreshing while still being very masculine which I definitely don’t think is for everyone. The scent also last a very long time. Not for me

I received this product for free from Jo Malone for testing and review purposes. This cologne has good staying power but is very overpowering. Too strong for my nose and preferences but if you enjoy the amber scent, you may like it.

Masculine

I received this product in exchange for an honest review. After receiving this, I ended up giving it to my husband. It is intense and masculine with woody and spicy notes. However there is something about it that I just don’t love. It does have great lasting power tho

Smell like a sexy woodsman.

This starts off very woodsy and then dies down to allow the amber and bitter orange to show through as well. With just the faintest hint of vanilla. This is definitely more of a masculine scent. It smells very sexy and delicious though. If you want your partner to bury their face in your chest I highly recommend this scent.
