Solo Shadow Matte - Fard A Paupières Mat

Awful. Dry up. Crumble. Terrible.

I’m done with Merit. These eye shadows dry and crumble and then say that we didn’t close tightly. If you look at the expiration date, it’s THREE MONTHS. That their excuse for why these are crap. Ignore the reviews from people who got these free or got paid for a review.

Waste of Money

Was so excited for this. Perfect color, beautiful texture, easily blends…. dries out and becomes unusable in no time at all. Save your money. You are essentially paying for a one time use product. Crazy.

Expensive but lovely hopefully will last ages!

Waited for Social to come into stock for ages! After being influenced its a lovely soft purple mauve shade easy to blend made sure i clicked shut so hopefully wont dry out like other have experienced.

A miss

I loved the cool taupe color but it completely dried out really quickly after just a couple of uses. I also bought the color social and it hasn’t dried out like studio (still usable). I’m a big fan of other merit products but this one is a miss.

No.

Loved this shadow initially. Bought in February and by end of March it’s completely dried out. Worst purchase ever. It’s not cheap. Only used a handful of times. I do not recommend

I honestly don’t think I got the right colour. The order was for Studio, the sticker on the bottom says Studio, but the contents do not look like the right colour. i have a few other Merit Solo Shadows and love them but this was an expensive disappointment.

Has Issues

Wanted to love…but don’t. Color goes on terracotta/orangey. Then, the texture is the biggest issue: it’s is ‘crumby’ and does not go in smoothly. You can see the little spot I try to use but the rest is dry and rough. It’s a hard no for me on repurchasing-esp for $$. (Color:Studio)

Every day wear

Good coverage. Stays all day. Studio is beautiful shade.

Loved

To me this is a one and done color.. not patchy, smooth application, lasts for the day and simply for anyone to apply.

Sad

Im pretty new to venturing into makeup other than mascara and a lippy. I thought this was going to be creamy, spreadable and really blendable. Unfortunately, its dry and patchy and is not a good product. my lid has been tight, I have tried different brushes, my fingers and no matter what I get a splotchy, sad mess of an eyelid. The color is exactly what I was looking for though.

I do like the product but the packaging is bad, it doesn’t seal well and the product dries up . I don’t put makeup on everyday so I only was able to use this a hand full of times before it dried up so it was a total waste.

Dries out after two uses. I tried it three times

I love this brand. And I really enjoyed this eyeshadow -color, texture and coverage, especially when applied with the coordinating brush sold separately. However, I have bought it three times and all three times it dried out after about two uses. Then you can put just a little bit of water on the brush and it will work right maybe two more times. And then the product is done. It’s a shame because it’s a beautiful color and applies very well at first doesn’t even need blending. You can swipe on one beautiful color and then you’re done.
