Perfect cream for dry skin

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review]  honestly, if you have skin that gets angry, flaky, or just feels tight the second the heater turns on, the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream is a total lifesaver. I’ve been using this 4 oz jar for about two months now, and it’s become my “security blanket” product. It’s not what you’d expect from and intense cream. Most heavy duty moisturizers feel like you’re rubbing Crisco on your face, but this has a whipped, airy texture. It sinks in almost immediately. I get these dry, itchy patches on my face, neck, and elbows and this is the only thing that actually calms the fire. The colloidal oatmeal is the real here, it stops the itch instantly. It’s rare to find something that’s gentle enough for my face (no breakouts) but tough enough for my dry shins. It’s basically unscented. It has a very faint, clean medicinal vibe from the eucalyptus, but it disappears in seconds. Is it the fanciest cream? No. The packaging is pretty basic. But if you’re tired of spending a lot of money luxury creams that just sit on top of your skin, this is the one. It just works. Pro Tip: a little goes a long way. Since it’s so spreadable, this 4 oz jar is definitely going to last me another couple of months.

I’m honestly so sad and disappointed, I’ve been using this product all throughout high school and university and it used to do wonders for my skin, but I just repurchased it in December and it has now been burning my skin every time I use it they must’ve changed the formula on the product which is highly disappointing 

New formula beware!

For years this was my go-to daily moisturizer for my dry+sensitive skin. I didn’t realize they reformulated when I bought my new pot! My skin has been very flaky and dry after using the new formula for a few weeks. Such a shame as I used to really like this moisturizer :(

A must have!

Before I started using this, my hands were really cracked and dry. A week into using this product, my hands look a lot better.

My favourite moisturizer !

I have sensitive, dry skin m and this moisturizer is a ride or die for me. I have been using it for a year now, and it’s one of the only things I can rely on to not break me out, and keep my skin hydrated.

Beware New Formula

Experienced the ultimate betrayal when I repurchased this product most recently. Despite being marketed as safe for sensitive skin, I almost immediately broke into an extremely painful rash upon application. I sincerely thought it was a chemical burn it hurt so badly. I initially thought this might be due to other new skincare I had incorporated into my routine, however, I found out soon after that the exact same thing happened to my sister. Absolutely not safe for use until they resolve this issue.

new formula issue

beware my sensitive skin girlies!! they must’ve changed the formula or something with the new packaging because i’ve been using the ultra repair cream for years and when i bought the new one andput it on i woke up but a rash all over my face and neck and i’ve been itchy all day. my sister uses it as well and she told me the same thing happened to her. so disappointing that i can no longer use my staple item!

Super hydrating!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I’ve been using products from first aid beauty for as long as I can remember so when this came out I was very excited! I have dry skin and this moisturizer is amazing! Hydrates my skin and leaves it glowy, did not breakout or cause any other problems. I feel like this one is more hydrating than the other one, it smells the same which is good, no perfume. Definitely recommend it!!

This product irritated my skin making it rashy. It’s not suitable for sensitive skin as it states.

Incredibly moisturizing!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I truly love this cream. It’s thicker than a lotion, but not too thick like a typical cream. It is scent free which I love & does a phenomenal job of moisturizing and replenishing my skin. I get very painful dry cracked elbows and find it can restore them back to healthy skin after 2 single use. I’ve used on my face with no breakouts & noticed a little goes a long way. I’ll definitely be buying more of this when I run out.
