I can’t say enough good things about this moisturizer. Putting it on is an experience in and of itself because of the lavish smell and pretty color. A little goes a long way (one jar lasts me 6 months with daily use, sometimes twice a day) and the ingredients are wonderful skin food. Since I started using it, my skin looks brighter and more even and it’s always hydrated. I have dry sensitive skin and finding a product that delivers moisture all day without making me break out took some doing, but this is it.

Dangerous product, be careful

I am a medical doctor licensed in several states in the US and I purchased this product because of the certified organic aspect. Throughout my career I have tried numerous skincare products from drugstore to luxury, and I enjoy trying new products to recommend for my patients. My skin is normal, no history of acne, irritation, etc. My skin is my strong suit. Upon applying this moisturizer, I felt slight burning on my skin. A few hours later, I went into the sun (with sunglasses on) and my eyes started to burn. I got in the car and headed out for the day, and I had to pull over because the burning became unbearable and I couldnt see the road anymore. I had to dump my water bottle into my eyes to stop the burning, I was scared I was going to lose my eyesight. Full transparency, I’m not exactly sure what happened here but I don’t think turmeric is meant to be used on skin. I have consumed turmeric for many years because of the health benefits and I’m able to get a lit from within glow by consuming it. I don’t actually think there’s that many benefits to putting it on skin to get a glow. I’m curious to try more of this brands turmeric products because I’d be interested in learning more about the dangers of this product.

Worst moisturizer

I used this product for a few months and it caused my skin full on breakouts. I tried to use it longer so see if it was just my skin purging, but it just kept getting worse. I have never really struggled with acne and after switching Moisturizers it cleared up almost immediately. my my

My go-to for years!! It’s perfect!

I’ve repurchased this moisturizer too many times to count! It’s been years. I have fairly dry skin so I love how moisturizing it is! It is pretty thick but I like that about it. My skin feels very hydrated and looks glowy.

Not as hydrating as i hoped

Becomes oily after a while and does not absorve very well making my make up after seem wonky

Burning + odour

As someone whose skin never reacts to anything (my skin is bulletproof in terms of skin care), I was shocked that my skin reacted to this. A few minutes after putting on a couple of small sample areas on my cheeks, my cheeks were burning. The smell was overwhelming as well. I'm aware of what turmeric smells like and I usually love my products to have pretty fragrances, but this was intense. The smell lingered and actually still smells several hours later. Also, normally I love Kora products and am actually sad that this didn't work out for me. Maybe I got an extra concentrated batch?

Not a fan

After applied one time I really don’t like because of the strong smell and heavy on my face.

this is my fav face moisturizer. it has great texture and a little goes a very long way.

Love this lotion. I use their serum and then apply the lotion. My skin is so smooth and soft.
