My Go-To Primer for a Dewy Glow

I am a bit obsessed with Pat McGrath’s Skin Fetish products. They live up to the hype. I love the dewy look my skin has when I use this primer. I often wear it without foundation. I wear it with her highlighter balm and divine blush for an easy lit-from-within look.

Idk what all the bad reviews are from…this is the best primer I’ve ever used! As an eczema prone but sometimes oily girlie who hates weird textures, this one hydrates and works great with PM foundation or Dior backstage.

Got this product in the mail, it was half empty! Good product, but for the price and product, should not be half air. Will be returning it soon because of this awful box.

This is like if the Fenty Pro Filt’r primer and the Too Faced Hangover RX primer had a baby. Leaves the skin with a satin finish. Hydrating but mattifying. Perfect for combination or Slightly dryskin.

Confused on why the primer is water based if the foundation is silicone based… water and silicone don’t mix , that’s probably why people are getting bad results with this. the primer and foundation cant work together lol

Feels smooth and light on the skin, the only problem is the price. I love Pat but ultimately I do not think it is really worth it.

A perfect splurge to buy when feeling extra.

I don’t understand why this primer doesn’t have at least 4 stars. It’s honestly a great primer, it completely blurs my pores, gives me a soft filter and it keeps my makeup on all day. It’s a great splurge. I only use concealer no foundation or skin tint.

This primer is amazing, I don't know why I've been sleeping on this! It's so hydrating, blurring and helps my makeup last all day long. I absolutely love it! Its like if benefit pore-fessional and and rare beauty had a baby and this was it! SO GOOD!

My favorite primer

I have been using this primer for years because it is hydrating and smoothing. I absolutely notice a difference in the way my makeup looks and how long it wears if I don’t use this primer. I have tried other primers, but always come come back to PM.

I’m aware most people seem to not like this primer or think it’s just not special. I don’t know i absolutely disagree. I love it. I notice a massive difference when i don’t use it and when i do, my makeup stays on longer and just looks smoother and overall better. I do have dryer skin so I don’t know if that affects it but for me i love it. I’ve repurchased at least 5 times throughout the years and will continue to

Saddens me.. But honest

I wish I could love this primer but I cannot I've used it numerous times after doing buying it. Ive realized that this primer doesn't work with Pat's Foundation and other foundations or doesn't work with my compo skin. It separates my foundations (yes, Pats Foundation too) it gets clumping together built up like I put too much on my face (even tho i dont) It's like my face is rejecting the primer... Little disappointed too with the packaging. just an honest review for numerous of months with this primer, and what i've experinces with it.

Water based primer only works with water based fou

If this isn't working for you it's because if is a WATER based primer - if you are trying it with founddarions that are not WATER BASED then it will seperate and look spotty. This works with her serum because it is also a water base and was formulated to go with her foundations. I am only leaving this review in hopes that people will see it and understand why it may not be working with other foundations as I saw some ppl leading reviews saying it wasn't working even though they have tried it with a few foundations. Use it with her foundation and you'll truly see a difference.
