This clarifying shampoo makes me feel squeaky clean. It strips everything off my scalp so I follow up with a hair mask. The vinegar smell is strong but it works well.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is my second bottle of the OUAI Detox Shampoo and I can’t keep my hands off of it. I love that it cleanses away all of the dirt, oil, and excess buildup that your hair naturally gets throughout the week. I used this shampoo about once (max twice) a week to keep my hair clean without stripping it away from its natural oils. I find this to be a great purchase because alittle goes a long way & it’s reasonably priced for the difference it makes.

I have struggled with dry scalp for a while and this kept my hair clean for almost a week! Great detox shampoo, my hair felt fresh, clean and healthy with no oil build up. The scent is very nice, not too strong, very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this product, a little goes a long way.

Squeaky Clean Hair

I use it on days that my scalp is particularly greasy or after I’ve used a lot of product in my hair to give it a good clean. I can tell that it thoroughly cleanses the hair and leaves no residue behind. Paired with the bond repair balm, these products leave my hair nice and soft.

New favorite clarifying shampoo!

I am a HUGE fan of this shampoo! I don’t know why I avoided it for so long, I think I thought it would be stripping. It is not. It IS deeply cleansing and will leave your hair feeling (almost) squeaky clean, but my hair still feels so good after using it! It has the lovely Melrose scent, but you CAN also smell the vinegar in the ingredients, so it kinda ends up smelling like fermented rose. This doesn’t bother me in the least and the vinegar scent does fade, but I thought I would mention it so no one is taken by surprise by the scent. I actually very much appreciate the inclusion of vinegar as I live in a state with very hard water. My hair feels SO bouncy and clean afterwards. I think I’ve found my HG clarifying shampoo!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The shampoo lathers well, smells good and cleans more than a normal shampoo. I do feel slightly dry after using. Could use clearer directions, I think you can only use it once a week as a clarifying? Smells expensive and yummy
