Rose d'Amalfi - Eau de Parfum

it literally smells like secret deodorant. it’s a generic & nauseating powdery rose scent, ridiculously overpriced, & the bottle looks & feels cheap. as someone who loves TF fragrances this is disappointing

Wanted to love

The opening notes are beautiful. A subtle powdery soft floral & sunny scent. A unique smell however, after drying down it smells of pure heavy vanilla and all of the other notes quickly dissipated. Disappointed, had to return.

my everyday accent

I love love this perfume, I get so many compliments. it's become my favorite everyday perfume. it's light and lovely, I definitely suggest you go find a store where you can smell it.

Youthful rose scent

I purchased this one on a whim without trying it out. I don’t typically favor perfumes of a rose scent as I associate them with something maybe my grandma would wear, something old fashioned and stale. However, this is a nice soft rose yet powdery scent, youthful and fresh and simple but not boring. It didn’t last long on me though, which is why I give it four stars but I think this is a true Tom Ford scent. He is brilliant at creating unique, elegant yet complex scents

Secret's deodorant

I thought that I would love this fragrance since I always seem to gravitate to floral and clean scents. Unfortunately, I was unpleased with this fragrance. It smells like a cheap package of powder secret deodorant! If you like or love this scent you should consider purchasing Secret Antiperspirant Deodorant Spray in the scent of "Powder Fresh" and save some money. Now, the bottle is very pretty and it does like nice on my vanity but thats about it.

Perfume for a white Sunday dress

Thank you so much influenster tomfordbeauty for sending the tomford Rose D'Amalfi Eau de Parfum as a complimentary in exhange for an honest review. This perfume is something I can wear with a white Sunday dress. It is a unisex perfume but I feel like it leans more on the feminine side. To be honest, the rose scent is so subtle, I can barely smell it in this perfume at all! Surprisingly, the heliotrope is more prominent, the creamy, powdery with a hint of synthetic almond is what I can actually smell. You just need 1 -2 sprays because the powder scent has a moderate to strong sillage that can last upto 4-6 hours. I am not someone who is into powdery scents but this one is still wearable for me.

I expected more!

let me start with the pros: the packaging is stunning i love the black case and how you can take off the top and keep it in there 1000 points for the packaging alone. but here’s where we go a bit downhill the cons. cons: price for what it is. it smells just okay to me and i normally don’t mind strong florals but whoa. i don’t hate it whatsoever i wear it every once in awhile when i wanna feel a little expensive and mature but with a light spray! if you’re not a strong floral perfume person, stay away. it does sometimes give me whiffs of baby powder or my grandma’s creams from back in the day but sometimes it’s a little nostalgic and i don’t mind it. definitely not an everyday scent for me and wouldn’t repurchase.

Powdery floral

I love that this perfume evokes a comforting feeling almost a motherly type feeling. It is powdery soft and floral almondy vanilla with softer rose and citrus notes. I found it to be more of a daytime casual fragrance and i do enjoy it. To be honest i was a bit underwhelmed with this one overall though. Tom Ford is one of my favorite fragrance houses and this was not unique and bold like ive come to expect from this house.

Smells a lot like powder. Definitely don’t spray too much. A little goes a long way. This scent lingers. I’m ok with it, but probably wouldn’t have purchased this for myself.

Love this!!

I’m in love with the bottles that Tom Ford makes! It is beautiful and looks so pretty sitting on your shelf. It is a soft rose and powder smell. It dries down nice on me! It lasts all day and smells so nice for a women. It has such a light floral smell.

I received this a a complementary gift in return for my honest opinions. I am a floral scent lover! I loved this fragrance. It wasn’t too over powering. It lasted all day. I would definitely wear this fragrance again.
