Prada Balm - Baume à Lèvres Perfecteur Universel

I did not expect to like this so much!

I had seen people using this Prada lip balm online and in real life. I was very intrigued by the case of the lip balm - very luxurious. When I came to sephora.com to look into Prada lip balm further, I was a bit surprised at the price. However, I decided that a little luxurious treat was allowed and I ordered myself the 000 Universal - clear lip balm online. I thought, at least, it would be a little bit of fun and some lip balm on the side. When I received the lip balm and tried it, I was blown away. First, the lip balm smells incredible (at least to me) and very refined. The balm is not greasy or shiny and makes my lips incredibly soft. I thought it would be run of the mill lip balm in a fancy case, but it is more than that. There are some premium ingredients in this lip balm and you can feel it. The case is great too. The lid is magnetic and the logo lines up perfectly every time. I also like the square detail on the case that reads “Prada”. Because of this, the lip balm won’t roll off the surface you put it on. Very satisfied with this purchase and I like that refills are available to reduce waste and packaging.

Meh - for the price, doesn’t really do much

Sure the experience is nice - although it’s really soft balm meaning it keeps breaking for and I can’t bear to waste it. It sort of dries my lips out too so for the price, save your money

bad taste

Performs well and I love the refillable packaging. BUT the taste is AWFUL! Baby powder and chemicals and it does not fade away! That's enough to make me stick to my non-refillable favorite.

Perfection at its best

I am impressed at how high quality the packaging and loved the extra magnets in the lid that made the case more secure. I am in love with this product. This goes on so smooth, I don't have to reapply every 5 minutes like most "chapsticks." I also feel so boujee putting on my balm with the packaging it comes in and it has a nice gentle scent to it!

Heavily Fragranced

This lip balm felt nice when applying, but unfortunately I couldn’t keep it on my lips longer than a couple of minutes due to the heavy fragrance. I felt like I had sprayed a strong perfume right on my face. It tasted bad as well. This is the type of fragrance that would have triggered a migraine for me if I had left it on. It seems like a nice balm but if you are very sensitive to fragrance, this is not a safe buy.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Very smooth product! Super sleek packaging, and has lasted a long time. I like that it isn’t unscented as well, it makes for a perfect daily lip product.

Can’t get over the smell

I seriously love the look and feel of this product but the smell is so strong it completely ruined it for me. I’m not typically a person adverse to fragrance in cosmetics, I’m exclusively a luxury brands girly, but I could taste it for HOURS.

Assechant

Baume ultra assechant jai rarement vu ca. Il se veut sans odeur mais a cette odeur de cire desagreable.

Smells like baby powder. Doesn’t really hydrate and makes lips tingle uncomfortably. Better off not using.

A pretty paperweight but not a good balm

This product broke on its second use. It goes on so smoothly but the formula is sooooo delicate. It breaks more and more every time I use it. I don’t roll it up very much but it wobbles and breaks off inside the tube. Beautiful packaging! Cute product. Awful to use
