Magnolia Nobile - Eau de Parfum Floral Boisé

Subtle and pretty

It's a pretty magnolia fragrance. I am not a fan of magnolia really, but do appreciate this one - it's a little too subtle for me, but sophisticated nonetheless. There's no artificial sweetness here, it's light, it's citrusy, it's floral and woody, and somewhat fleeting, but it is a perfect daytime scent, inoffensive, suitable for the office.

Best scent ever

I always get compliments when I wear Magnolia Nobile but most importantly the scent feels like I made it from things I love. It’s not overpowering and the notes are really special.

I spent MONTHS looking for the perfect wedding perfume. I wanted something sophisticated with a lot of layers and depth. This perfume is IT. It starts out very citrusy, with middle floral notes that are beautiful and natural, and the final notes are sandalwood and vanilla. It is a stunning, well rounded perfume! I will say that the staying power isn't as strong as some other perfumes, but it makes up for it because its stunning.

Lovely and feminine!

Lovely, balanced floral fragrance. Not too sweet because of the citrus and sandalwood, but definitely a feminine fragrance. It doesn't make you smell like a creme brulee or a fruity cocktail like many of the modern fragrance houses. A sophisticated and elegant and womanly classic. I usually prefer the citrus and woody Mediterranean fragrances by Acqua di Parma for summer - but this makes me feel dressed up. I like that it's not too heavy for summer and it's aromatherapy for me is uplifting. What a nice addition to a collection of fragrances.

i have the mini one. i absolutely love this fragrance!!!! its so nice and strong so you only one spritz too !!!

Sweet and Amazing

This scent is so feminine and floral. I’m in love and lasts a decent amount of time (6ish hours on me). People can also smell it a few feet away. It’s not floral as in a garden or roses but just very nice floral and sweet. I have a small sample but I’m eyeing a bigger bottle of this once I finish that.

only for true magnolia lovers

I think this perfume would be lovely for someone who truly admires the scent of magnolias and just wants to be surrounded by it. I didn’t find the fragrance to be very interesting or to have much personality at all... it was all, just straight, magnolia. In fact I looked up the notes just to see if I could notice anything else but I really couldn’t... maybe it’s just my nose? The smell is actually so strong that I can only wear it for 2-3 hours before I really can’t stand it anymore. That being said, the staying power in that time is still impressive— I only did one spray directly at my chest (onto my shirt) with my arm almost completely extended. The spray nozzle is worth appreciating as it spritzes the product in such a fine mist. Sadly I will be returning this product as it was truly just experimental for me... and unfortunately gives me a headache.

so pretty and surprisingly long lasting

I tend toward heady scents. for me a scent really can't be too strong, because most perfumes don't last on me. I figured that this one would last terribly, because it's a citrusy floral, but it actually lasts! it's not a monster, but this perfume actually has good performance. it's refreshing because of the citrus, so pretty and feminine with the magnolia and jasmine. to me this is the most unique of the Nobile range, because I don't see many magnolia heavy scents out there. I really like it!

It’s ok

This is a wonderful sent, it dries close to the skin, so in order for someone to smell it they have to either be hugging you or very, very close. I only get complements when someone hugs me, that’s a real bummer because the reaction to the scent is “you smell wonderful.” It would be nice to pass by ppl and get that same reaction.

Not worth the money!

I am really shocked that this perfume has any good reviews at all. It smells like cheap hairspray...heavy in alcohol smell with an unidentifiable fragrance added to it. There is only one note that I can isolate in it and that is the citrus note. I am so disappointed, this is going back. I just can’t even believe that someone would pay this kind of money to smell like a cheap hairspray with a splash of citrus.

not like a southern magnolia but

it makes me think of southern nights sitting on the deck talking w friends and family (while also swatting mosquitoes but that's just part of being a South Louisiana Girl). Southern nights are usually floridly floral and humid w flower and herbal scents and somehow this brings all of that to mind. I'm in mid-Florida now and this is making me miss home badly. I can't say yet if it's long-time on the skin or not because I keep spritzing it on... I usually wear shalimar but I will buy this again. I saw someone had a note that there is body cream so I'll be looking for that too.
