Lip Lustre Pillow Talk - Gloss

Not the best product by CT: Avoid it

Are you a pillow talk fan ? If yes like me, this #lipgloss has sadly dissappointed me. It doesn’t live up to the expectations and what it is supposed to do. The color is always beautiful. Yé ! PROS The texture is creamy and very easy to apply even without a mirror. The finish is gorgeous leaving your lips shiny and moist with hydratation. As usual #charlottetilbury have magnificient packaging screaming: « Luxury ». It’s not oily and not greasy. CONS The product is very expensive for the little quantity you get. It doesn’t last very long; it didn’t survived me drinking a glass of water. It did also transfert on my glass. It is a bit sticky with a little minty tingling effect. There is a very little taste and very little smell I notice. The product is not smoothing and is very lightweight. So it really pains me to give. #charlottetilburymakeup 3 stars but this is not her best product (I almost put 2 stars). I love her #lipstick and have many more of her products I adore too. Suffise to say: I will not repurchase. This product is #sulfatefree for info.

Far too light, doesn’t work for Olive face tones

Honestly for me, im not a fan of the colour. It looks way too light on me (I usually use pillow talk medium). However my bf likes the look as he says it looks natural. Also I did not mix with other products(in photo), and I am not wearing a full face of makeup. I feel like it looks far too light. I mixed it with my pillow talk medium to try but it looks dull together, I also tried it with lip liner but it’s not a look on me. The actual product is buttery and light, the product also dispenses with little product (which could be helpful). I have a olive complexion so i just dont think its for me. If you like mixing lip products for certain looks this would work for you. However I like the ease of a single colour look or a nice warmer lip.

I do not like this product at all. Please do not waste your money on it. It’s not glossy and leave a weird texture on the lips. Charlotte tilbury lip products are usually amazing but not this one. I threw mine away.

This is my all time favorite lip gloss. If you like the lip stick you NEED the gloss. I always use the lip stick and the gloss on top. Fav duo!

Worst product, chemical smell, gritty texture

This is the worst Charlotte Tilbury product that I’ve ever tried. First of all, it has a weird, plastic-y, chemical smell that I can’t get over. It’s also very ineffective and I have to reapply it so many times for any gloss effect. It’s very sticky not in a usual gloss way and has a gritty texture and it dries out my lips really quickly.

I am beyond disappointed in this lip gloss. I’ve been so happy with every other product from this line but this just ain’t it. It’s sticky. The applicator sucks. The formula seems pretty cheap. The shades are beautiful. I’ll give it that th The shades are beautiful

Can I just write a review about Maria, who works at C.Tilbury in Calgary? She is incredible. I fall in love with Charlotte Tilbury products many years ago, but Maria brought it on a completely different level. Maria is that very person you need. Stunning, gorgeous, knows everything in the World. Go and see her!!!! 100 stars!!!

goes on a bit streaky. I use it under another lip gloss to a glossier look.

Doesn’t last on your lips

Had to reapply this multiple times in just one hour. Don’t recommend despite it being a beautiful color. Doe foot of the wand is SO tiny for application. You get barely any product. Just disappointing.

Beautiful shade honestly! Did not like the formula very thick & sticky. And the applicator is just too small for my liking.
