[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] One of the best hair care industries is in Japan so I was excited to try this world wide popular brand gloss from Japan. Shu uemura tonic gloss applies easily and coats each strand to create healthier looking hair. The scent is floral and can be a little on the stronger side for those with sensitive noses. I do wish the instructions included how much time you need to leave it on for maximum effectiveness. I left it one for around 2 minutes. I did notice my hair look healthier and stronger after rinsing it out.

Good product for strong shiny hair

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This gloss actually provides a nice shine and it did strengthen my overall hair. I had to use it a couple of times to really give it an accurate review. Now the initial smell is not good. It is so strong that it overpowered my initial conditioner. However, it did work best when I left it in a little longer than the direction advertised. Once I rolled my hair with my overnight rollers I saw the next day it had shine and the body was there. My dull blonde did not look dull. I would use this again but word to the wise leave it in for at least 10-15 mins instead of the 5 mins. That's just my opinion it absorb better for me that way.

Light and airy texture

I’ve been using the Izumi Tonic Strengthening Gloss Treatment for about three weeks now, and I am so impressed with how quickly it transformed my hair. The first thing I noticed was the light, almost airy texture—it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy at all. It spreads easily through my hair and rinses clean without leaving any residue. After consistent use, my hair looks noticeably shinier and smoother. It has also helped strengthen my fragile ends. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I used it once a week for 4 weeks as directed and my hair actually looks and feels healthier than it did. It says to apply on wet hair and leave on for 8 minutes then rinse. It isn't particularly conditioning but once dry my hair looks so healthy to the tips and the volume seems uniform. It comes in an easy to use squeeze bottle and goes on easily, and I did notice that it takes quite a bit of product for very long hair like mine. 4 uses has used 1/3 of the bottle already, so this bottle should last me about 3 months at this once weekly rate of use. Shorter hair will likely last longer. I haven't really noticed any additional shine or gloss although the product advertises gloss. A good product I will continue to use and see if there is additional improvement.

A must have in routine

After a few uses, my hair started looking shinier and just overall healthier. Even when I style it, it feels stronger and less delicate. The nozzle applicator makes it super easy to use too — I didn’t realize how much I’d appreciate that until I tried this product especially the breakage I have on the top of m hair.

A miracle in a bottle! No joke

Oh my gosh ya’ll this Izumi hair tonic by Shu Uurmura is like a miracle for my hair! I have been using it 3-4 times a week for one month now and my hair is so soft and shiny!! It has brought my hair back to life. Even after the first use I could tell how shiny it made my hair. It’s been so way to use; just apply to clean hair after you shampoo leave in for a few mins then rinse clean and style. After styling my hair it made it glossy and gave it a shine I haven’t seen in years since before I began coloring it. Excellent hair treatment

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Loved this Izumi tonic strengthening gloss! It has a nice fresh scent like baby powder and makes my hair feel soft for days. It feels like it heats up a little when applied but not hot. I used it after shampooing and conditioning.

Lightweight hair gloss

It’s quicker than a conditioning mask as it is left on briefly before rinsing, so it’s easy to do even on busy days. My hair just feels like silk and looks so good! There isn’t a super strong smell either, which helps!

Clearly less brittle hair

I do think that this product is something that I need since I do suffer from dry brittle hair sometimes. I’m currently in my hair journey arrow. I’ve been struggling with hair fall out. I have been using the shu uemura strengthening gloss over the past few weeks and it’s been fine. This is a higher end product so I was expecting some amazing results. The product is itself does feel nice going onto my hair, I can’t tell a difference that my hair is softer and less brittle. The instructions are lacking Doesn’t really say how long to keep it on your hair. I’m assuming for anything to work on for a few minutes at least so that’s what I did. The packaging is good. The smell is fine. In regards to actually noticing whether or not my hair is stronger, I would need to be using it for a much longer time.

Amazing product with a slight learning curve

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I was slightly skeptical about this gloss, but after about a month of consistent use I love it and find my hair to be much more full-looking and shiny! There’s a slight learning curve for using the product, I found it difficult to gauge how much I was using. I’ve found that a little goes a long way! I apply the gloss according to package instructions (zig zag motion over ends) and leave it in for about 2 minutes. You can instantly feel a softness to your hair immediately after applying! There is a scent as others have noted that has a slight salon smell to it, but if you don’t use too much I don’t think it lasts on my hair at all! It leaves no residue after rinsing and I’ve really noticed a change in my hair! Highly recommend for anyone struggling with fullness and dullness, this product has added shine and strength to my hair!
