I bought this entire line for my 1A, super fine, straight, bleached hair. it makes my hair feel silky, and it gives it body. I'm in love!

Amazing with the shampoo!!

I’m not sure what magic this is but the conditioner alongside the shampoo has been doing wonders for my fine oily scalp Southeast Asian hair that has become dry and frizzy over the years. I usually have to wash my hair every other day because my scalp is so oily but now if I really wanted to I could go more days. My hair looks like I just showered and blow dried it into silky smoothness. I think this is my HG combo.

Good conditioning

The IZUMI TONIC CONDITIONER worked well with my hair. It left it feeling smooth, shiny and healthy. My only issue with this product was the package it was in as I did not feel it pumped out well. As for the conditioner itself though I would recommend it. I got this product for free in exchange for writing a review of my honest opinion.

Fell below expectations

Sadly did not meet my expectations. First the good though. I did like the pretty bottle, sleek design, convenient pump, and it did leave my hair smelling very nice. Though I had to use a lot, as my hair just kept drinking up every last bit of it. It wasn't as thick and nourishing as I was expecting. Not the best, not the worst, but didn't seem to justify the price point.

My hair feels stronger and nourished with this Shu Uemura Izumi tonic conditioner. I apply two pumps of the conditioner to clean wet hair, leave it for 5 minutes then rinse thoroughly. This smells light and fresh and I've noticed way less hair fall. My hair is also freeze free.

YES YES YES!!!

YES YES YES! I love this new shu uemura shampoo & conditioner! I have very long hair, and I've been searching for a shampoo & conditioner that I could alternate with my regular ones (I use Kerastase's Resistance for Long Hair shampoo & conditioner)- and I've finally found it! My hair is soft, silky, and easy to style. I noticed a difference the first time I used it! And although this line isn't marketed specifically for long hair, it really does the trick. I want to mention that if you don't have thinner or shorter hair, I wouldn't recommend using the Izumi tonic (this line’s strengthening Rice Water Tonic which was released in the fall), as it will probably leave your hair feeling sticky and/or dry, because it was created to add volume to thin hair. I used it once, and the tonic left my hair unmanageable- but honestly, I probably shouldn't have used it in the first place, because my hair is long and medium/thick. However for my hair type, the shampoo & conditioner are magical- I use my regular styling products with them, and my hair looks like I walked out of the salon. I also really love the scent- it's a light, clean, powdery scent- it almost reminds me of a high end baby powder. Nothing too overpowering- it's just perfect. So glad Shu Uemura finally expanded this line! And if you have hair like mine, this might be the perfect shampoo & conditioner for you!

Leaves hair feeling good

I have used this conditioner for a few weeks now and my hair feels very clean and not weighed down. I don’t see a difference in the appearance but when I run my hands thru I can feel it. I do feel I need to keep using it and maybe then I will see a difference.

This, in combo with the tonic and shampoo, made my hair super dry. I tried using it twice and both times my hair was left very brittle and dry. This was right after I got my hair cut too. It took several washes and deep conditioner to get it back to normal. I will say that I have thicker hair, so maybe this just isn’t the right product for my hair type

Great Packaging

I have bleached blonde, thin, fragile hair. This worked great and did not weigh it down. The product was easy to dispense. The only thing I don't like about this line is the scent, which it doesn't seem to linger too long with this product.

Excellent conditioner with lovely smell

After using this product for the past few weeks I have noticed my hair has improved tremendously. It’s silky and soft. The conditioner smells so good. Light citrus scent. Combined with the shampoo it’s amazing. I will be buying this product again. Sleek pretty modern bottle! Recommended

It’s great!

After using this product for a little over 3 weeks, I feel like I’ve had positive results. The bottle in general is nice, it looks very modern. It’s an easy pump. It has a nice white liquid that’s not to thick. It’s not sticky and has a nice smell. My hair is soft and my scalp is not itchy or flacky. This far my hair has responded beautifully. My ends look better and my hair is soft and my frizz is not wild. Even with the ingredients, it’s made with rice water. I would highly recommend this product!
