The 5 star reviews must all be incentivized because this product is terrible!! My hair is so dry and it takes forever to brush my hair after the shower because it gets so knotty. Horrible!!! My hair also rips out in chunks when brushing

Better for body

I have very fine straight hair so getting volume is always a challenge. I only use sulfate free shampoo. For volume this is the best shampoo I’ve ever tried. I’m finding out that the living proof brand really works for me. I don’t use conditioner though because then it weighs my hair down. I just use some hair oil on the ends and a very small amount of the styling cream before I style. The living proof mousse holds better than most as well.

DRYING - SHEDDING

Unfortunately, this shampoo and conditioner didn’t work for me—it dried out my hair and caused noticeable shedding. I have an oily scalp with drier ends, and this just didn’t strike the right balance. I ended up passing it along to my mom, who has very oily, fine hair, and she actually seems to like it. That said, I don’t think it does much in terms of adding volume.

Waste Not, Wash Not

Little pricey but worth every penny if you're like me and hate washing your hair. This shampoo leaves hair and scalp feeling fresh and clean for at least 3 days. It does not strip the natural oils from the scalp and adds volume. We'll done Living Proof.

My new go to shampoo

Disappointed After Initial Excitement I was really excited to try this shampoo, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my expectations. After using it consistently for two weeks, I noticed my scalp becoming dry and irritated. It just didn’t work for me, and I won’t be purchasing it again.

Did absolutely nothing. Have used their hair serum and frizz control shampoo and liked them. For this and the conditioner a waste of money

An every day go to shampoo!

I love this one for all my volume needs. It’s like giving me a squeaky clean slate every wash day, without being too harsh to use every other day. Love love love.

I have really enjoyed this shampoo! It gets my hair feeling and looking really clean without stripping away moisture! I also feel like it gives me good texture and volume!

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME

Decided to change up my hair routine and try this and the matching conditioner. I have thin fine + straight hair and oily scalp and this weighed my hair down and made it too fly-away! Returned. Also all the reviews are incentivized.

Still A Wash-Day Fave

The Full Shampoo and Conditioner were my introduction to Living Proof more than a decade ago, and has been my mainstay ever since. I could be happier about the new formula — leave it to LP to improve on perfection!

Vavaaaaa-voom! Doesn’t weight my hair down. Makes it silky but with texture! Def love this product!
