This brand only makes stuff smell good, they’re by no means haircare experts. This shampoo dries out my hair so bad. Doesn’t feel like it cleans, I highly dislike it. 0 stars for the shampoo. The conditioner is fine, just an average conditioner. They both smell good like the signature bum bum scent. But don’t buy this if you truly care about your hair, you’re paying for the brand

Skin brands shouldn't mix with hair brands

Smells amazing but very thick, hard to wash out and makes my processed hair greasy.

Bad for your hair

I liked this product at first, but the last time i saw my hair stylist she asked what I was using on it. i told her about this shampoo and she said I should stop using it because my hair was smoking while she was drying it! Most likely because certain ingredients that make your hair shiny also coat your hair and leave a waxy, artificial coating on it. Not good. I don't recommend.

Smells like heaven!

I love this shampoo, I cannot use it every time I shampoo because it is a tiny bit stripping, if you have oily hair you could use it all the time, I rotate it with Keratase and Caviar shapoo to trepair and use this to treat myself and to use in concert with all the other Sol de Janeiro products I love!!

Do not waste your money

Horrible! Absolutely no lather, had to rewash hair with Olaplex. Left hair so dry, even after using conditioner. Will be returning. The description of this item is definitely misleading and incorrect.

like everyone else is saying, the smell is amazing but will dry out your hair. couldn't even save it with oil, will be going back to my normal shampoo/conditioner.

Loved it !

I have very long hair naturally, my hair is also thick & wavy , I had a very good experience using this shampoo, the smell was amazing, my hair is so soft & silky ,  I purchased the mini size to try it out on a trial basis. I will buy full size next time.

Wanted to love it, but full of chunks / gone bad!

I love SDJ products but this was awful, truly the worst hair product experience I have ever had in my life. This is super expensive shampoo (the bottle is much smaller than most - you can buy salon shampoo much cheaper than this). I peeled the seal off of it and went to use it but the product wouldn't come out of the dispenser. I had to remove the lid to pour some out, and it is FULL of enormous chunks (think slimy stretchy cheese curds). They do not dissolve. They stayed in my hair, and clogged my drain. What an absolute flop! Item was stored in a cool, dry place and was like this immediately upon opening. I can't imagine how bad it would be if it was left in a damp bathroom.

lovely smelling disaster

smells good but that's it. product looks curdled and gross and dried my hair out TERRIBLY. Dude, just don't waste ur time this stuff sucks

Something was so off with this product. Pulling the seal off it looked like it had started to almost rot away and the shampoo came out looking curdled. I didn’t even attempt to use it.
