I do not recommend buying this. I put it in my roots, massaged it in, and used a brush as well and it would not blend. It looked like I had dandruff. The instructions said to shake out the excess, but literally nothing worked. Will not buy again.

I LOVE Briogeo products but this root powder & dry shampoo is awful. ?I feel like I had paste inmy hair. This product is not up to par of the amazing brand!

It actually works and blends on dark hair!

I was looking for something that would give my bangs and roots volume while helping my itchy, dry scalp control its oils and maybe skip a few hair washes because i have dark hair with an underlayer of purple and I FOUND IT! I know it's hars to find a good powder that will actually blend in dark hair and this one was no exception--- the first time I used it I looked like a Victorian maiden with white, chalky hair and I was soooo tempted to return it but I decided to give it another try si here's the trick for ya: shake it, apply a small amount to the palm of your hand, rub your hands together and start applying from your bottom layer and work your way up to the crown of your scalp. It will give you the nicest volume with zero residue even after you brush it out. I'm giving it 4 stars because there's actually a trick to it that I know some may not be willing to do lol

Not a dry shampoo but a good root & volume powder

Good root and volume product but NOT A DRY SHAMPOO as advertised. Unfortunately that's what I wanted it to be.

Not for Black hair

This is really nice and does add loads of volume to your hair. But my hair is black and the residue was visible. If you take the time to rub it in there it mostly goes away. I am much happier with the ease of a spray.

Overall good. But it’s to hard to wash the hair after using it, especially if you have long hair. It’s jut ok.

Doesn't keep hair volumized.

I wanted to like this, but it didn't really work out. It is advertised on the site as a dry shampoo also which I question. As a dry shampoo, it didn't do much. It kind of absorbed the oil, but after 10-15min it looked like I needed more. There are better dry shampoos out there for much cheaper. As a volumizing powder it was even more disappointing. It gives your hair a bit of texture, which is to be expected from volumizing powders, but after 15min my hair would look more flat than it did before. Not only that, with the texture it creates makes it look like I haven't washed my hair in a couple days. I have pretty straight and somewhat fine hair, so maybe it depends on hair type. Slight positive is that it has a nice light scent.

LOVE, leaves your hair feeling so soft. Much better dry shampoo vs. other brands such as Batiste.

I returned this product after one use because it made my hair have a weird texture that felt chalky.

More of a loose dry shampoo...

This product is ok as a loose dry shampoo. It’s mess though. The powder shakes out very fast. It’s nearly impossible to use a small amount. It’s not the typical volumizing powder I am accustomed to using. It gives my hair very minimal volume and it leaves a white cast big time. I am going to use up what I have - but won’t be repurchasing.

Great root lifter

I like this product! I sprinkle a very small amount on my fingers, rub my hands together and THEN place my hands/fingers up into my scalp and massage the product into my roots and whatever is left of my hands I'll rub it into the rest of my hair/ends. Works GREAT! but don't use too much otherwise your hair will feel heavy and dry. A little goes a long way.
