finally tried the SEPHORA COLLECTION False Lash Starter Kit, and I’m honestly so impressed! If you’re new to false lashes or just want something effortless, this kit makes the whole process feel easy and stress-free. The lash shape is beautiful — soft, fluttery, and super natural-looking. They are slightly longer, so you may need to trim them a little to fit your eye shape perfectly, but that actually helps customize the look. Once they’re on, they blend seamlessly with your real lashes and give that “are those even falsies?” effect. The applicator is a game changer, especially for beginners. It gives you so much control and makes placement quick and precise. And can we talk about the glue? It holds incredibly well without feeling heavy or uncomfortable. My lashes stayed put all day, yet removal was still gentle and easy. Overall, this kit truly has everything you need to master false lashes. Whether you’re getting ready for an event or just want to elevate your everyday makeup, it delivers the perfect natural glam. Definitely a must-have in my beauty routine 🤍

Perfect

I like to use mascara on special occasions, like going to a restaurant, to make my eyes stand out. Before using false eyelashes, start practicing at home like I do, because when you use them for real, it will be easy. Alternative Method: Try individual or cluster lashes for a more natural look and easier, customizable application.  Watch tutorials on YouTube from makeup artists and influencers. I liked these eyelashes; they look like doll eyelashes and would be beautiful to wear during the day. Key Steps for Application Preparation: Curl your natural lashes and apply mascara to help blend them with the falsies. Measure & Trim: Place the lash against your eyelid to check the length, trimming from the outer edge if necessary. Glue Application: Apply a thin layer of adhesive along the band, adding extra to the ends to prevent lifting. Placement: Look down into a mirror, placing the middle of the strip first, then pressing the inner and outer corners into place Secure: Gently press the false lashes against your natural lashes to blend them, using a lash applicator or fingers. 

I love it

This lash kit is very complete and perfect for all skill levels, even for beginners. It's super easy to apply and the lash quality is excellent. I tested them for several days and the glue has great hold — I didn't have any lashes falling off or needing touch-ups. All the tools included, especially the tweezers, are totally worth it and make the application much easier. They look very natural while still enhancing the eyes beautifully. You can clearly see the big difference with and without lashes in the photo. This product was gifted to me to test and share my honest opinion, and I definitely recommend it.

Really nice starter kit if you’re new to false lashes) The lashes look natural and not too dramatic. The holds well and didn’t irritate my eyes. I also love that everything is included, so it’s super beginner friendly😍 Easy to apply, comfoyo wear)

Pretty but hardish to apply

I am a complete beginner with lashes. These were difficult for me to figure out and apply. The tweezers were chunky. I feel like it would've been easier if the were thinner. The lashes themselves are super pretty. They are a little dramatic with being my first set but I think I'll get used to them. The glue was easy to work with and dried quickly.

I liked the texture of the lashes, they felt pretty natural and not too stiff. The glue also worked well. My only complaint is that the tweezers were hard to work with and I wish they were a bit smaller so they were more precise

Look natural and easy to apply

These lashes are absolutely gorgeous! They’re fluffy, well-made, and blend perfectly with natural lashes. The band is flexible, so application is easy even for beginners. They look very natural but still give that glam effect. I wore them for several hours and they stayed comfortable the whole time. Highly recommend!

Beautiful!

This lash kit is a must have and game changer, especially if you love to a have a more natural lash look. I really love that the lashes blend really nicely with my real lashes, and gave me a soft, wispy look . I typically don’t not like using fake lashes because it can be really hard to put them on but I found the kit to be a beginner friendly kit. It was actually very easy to apply them on l! They are very lightweight, and surprisingly comfortable on the lash line . They don’t feel heavy or irritating at all throughout the day. Everything in the kit feels well-made and designed to make apply very smooth and stress-free. The lashes hold their curl and shape even after multiple uses, which is a huge plus. i have loved waking up in the morning and feeling already put together. I would highly recommend this kit!

Easy to apply and an awesome price point!

Sephora's new Lash Starter Kit is so easy to use and looks amazing! I have literally 0 eyelashes. I mean barely anything, but I also am not very adept at putting on eyelashes. Usually I get the glue everywhere except where it's supposed to be. All over my eyes, my fingers and the clumping! Total disaster! So to find a set made JUST for me, something easy, with clear glue that's so easy to apply to the lashes means EVERYTHING! It comes with an easy to use lash applicator, perfect for getting just the right placement to make me look and feel like a total Rockstar. You can trim the lashes easily, if they are a tad to long (mine were perfect) Basically this lash starter kit is perfect for the novice and the expert. I highly recommend. And at this price, it's a steal!

Average not wow

Overall, I’d say this kit is okay, but not wow. The lash band is thin, which helps keep the lashes lightweight and prevents them from feeling heavy on the eyes. However, removing the lashes from the packaging is frustrating and can easily tear if you’re not careful. The quality also feels lower compared to other high-end lash brands I’ve used. The glue is just average and slightly colored, so if placement isn’t perfect, it can leave visible residue. The tweezers feel a bit too thick, a more delicate tip would make application easier. It works, but there are better ones out there!

Might Not Be For Beginners (But still worth it!)

As a girlie who rarely applies strip lashes, I wasn’t exactly surprised that I struggled with these. The flexibility of the lash strip and of the actual lashes came as both a pro and a con for me. I found the lashes difficult to handle, as I’m really not used to such a flexible set of lashes. I couldn’t figure out how to use the tool either. I personally didn’t experience these as beginner friendly, but I still gave 4 stars, because with some practice, I can see there being a lot of benefits from opting for a more flexible lash strip. Also, the soft lashes make for a comfortable and natural-looking wear. The lash glue works well, and doesn’t try too quickly or too slowly. I love that this comes as a complete all-in-one kit. I plan to keep practicing with this.
