This purchase was so worth it. It blends both liquid and powder formulation onto the skin so smoothly. And it feels so soft on the skin!

Long Lasting

I’ve had this brush for over 10 years and it’s still in amazing condition! It’s super soft and doesn’t shed bristles. Worth the price. Hourglass Cosmetics will always be my go-to for quality makeup brushes!

I use it for blush and it applies it so beautifully. I don’t think this would work for liquid or cream products. It’s very fluffy so I think it’s better suited for powder. It has a nice weight to it. Definitely happy.

DO NOT BUY

Falls apart after a year of very minimal use. I rarely wear foundation (maybe 15 times a year) and that’s all I’ve used this brush for. It’s completely falling apart.

The best cream brush. Applies makeup evenly and smoothly.

Terrible quality/crickets from Customer Service

Do not buy. Brush hairs started falling out after a few months of occasional use. Hourglass does not respond to customer service request. Don’t waste your money on buying items from company that doesn’t stand behind their (expensive) products.

I have had this brush for so many years and it still works like it always did. I never lost and fibres and I clean it regularly. I think it’s too fluffy for foundation, I use it for blush and it’s beautiful.

Didn't work for me with liquid foundation.

I'm not a professional makeup artist and I didn't get this free. I bought it! I've given this brush many months of usage before reviewing. It does not work well with liquid foundations. There is way too much movement by the bristles when applying. Too floppy. I tried several techniques applying liquid foundation and determined I was putting pearls on a pig. No matter what I do it's still not going to work! I ended up with streaks or worse. I tried using it as a powder blush brush and that didn't work out either. I do have the hourglass ambient lighting and it seems to do better with that. I did not return it since I could make it function with the ambient lighting. There isn't a 'made in blah blah' on the brush anywhere. Which is odd. So I looked on the box and got out the magnifying glass so I could read the place or origin. Sorry I did.

A good brush and durable. However, the bristles are very long which lowers the amount of control I have when applying. Uncomfortable for blending. I sort of use it for blush but only until I get something that suits me better. Can't return it so might give to a friend if they have a use for it.

Shedded after less than a year.

The bristles literally started coming out in clumps and I had to throw it out. Expected better quality from a brush this expensive.
