James - Eau De Parfum

NOT blind buy safe

OOF. this is a very specific floral. its not for me. in my personal opinion it smells like a bad floral mixed with sweat. HOWEVER, my mother said she thinks it smells pretty good, so i'd def smell this one in person before buying.

A blind buy

James was a blind buy and I have zero regrets with taking the chance. I am typically a gourmand scents person; YSL Libre Intense is my usual go to. Initially, the gardenia is the only scent to come through; very fresh and a little green. Over time it transforms and the fig balances it beautifully. I occasionally like to layer it with Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia if I want a little sweet. This is not an overwhelming perfume but it's just enough to garner compliments. It's pleasant, fresh, and inviting. If you're reading my review and considering this scent; I highly recommend making the purchase.

Where’s the fig

Everyone smells scents differently but I’m obsessed with fig perfumes and the fig is undetectable here. You can barely smell amber. Just an overdose of gardenia that’s a cross from vintage grandma to funeral home bouquet decay, I. I actually had to return my purchase

I’m really getting into fig scents lately. I’m 100% a gourmand lover. This pairs so perfectly with The Maker Lover. It’s a beautiful creamy wood scent.

Not gonna lie..first spray smells like poop. But the dry down gives off that woody smell. I wouldn't repurchase though.

Fresh cut flowers

This smells like freshly cut gardenias. I don't get much of a fig note, but it's still such a beautiful fragrance.

Almost through my second bottle, and will continue to buy! Slightly spicy, slightly floral.. it's perfection! It doesn't last a very long time, but I layer it with the perfume oil and that helps. I love that it's not overpowering, it's light and very much a skin scent. I'm prone to headaches from fragrances, and this has one never bothered me.

I grew up with a fig tree outside my bedroom window and this scent takes me back! Gardenia is my favorite floral (give me Fracas and Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia all day). Between those two notes James by Rosie Jane is a winning combination. It's light and subtle but SO good. I read that some users only pick up one note or the other on their skin - I definitely get both and I'm loving it. I purchased the travel size blind based on the reviews, and I'll be coming back for the full size soon. Glad to add this to my fragrance rotation.

If you love gardenias you will adore this!

I love gardenias, this smells truly like gardenia. It lasts a long time, and I get compliments on how good I smell from clients at work all the time. Perfect for summer if you want to smell clean beautiful floral scent.

J'ai découvert cette marque car Sephora proposait à la vente un coffret d'échantillon des différents parfums et je suis tombée sous le charme. "James" est clairement mon préféré, j'aime les notes olfactives et tient toute la journée sur ma peau qui absorbe en général les parfums. J'ai acheté d'autres parfums de la même marque.
