Forget Frizz - Shampoing anti-frisottis

2 stars instead of 1 because technically it did cut down on frizz, but manages this by leaving a thick waxy residue in the hair to weigh it down, so doesn't clean the hair at all and my scalp was greasy hours before it normally is with my typical shampoo. The scent is also very strong and while I can see some people enjoying the smell, it wasn't my personal taste. I don't think this is worth any amount of money.

Hydrating but leaves residue

After using this shampoo and conditioner for a few weeks, my hair feels hydrated but it leaves a residue no matter how much I rinse it. The scent smells really good

Smoothing

It’s a nice shampoo, my hair is still frizzy But it’s smoothing very similar to the bond Anika shampoo. After using a drug store shampoo and my hair falling off it has helped a lot with that!

A must have for frizzy hair

Got the sample size as a few gift and can't believe how great it works. I've only used it a couple of times, but I can actually see the ending result. Whatever the scent is, I'm in love. I can't wait to buy the full size product.

Leaves the worst film on your hair for days and makes your hair so so oily and I have very dry hair. Would never rebuy!

not part of my routine

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] if I’m being completely honest, I would not use this one again. I don’t think it’s worth the money. The sentence is good in the packaging is cute but I feel like I left my hair so oily after one day my hair literally looks like I didn’t shower so it doesn’t really take the oil even if you do two times shampooing I think there’s more shampoo’s worth a prize that could get the job done.

Gentle clean

My hair looks great and it smells great also

Almost perfect

Overall, I’m truly satisfied. As always Amika always has fun and colorful packaging which makes it stand out in the shower. The scent is light, slightly fruity, and not overpowering—perfect if you don’t like strong fragrances lingering all day. In terms of effectiveness, I want to mention my hair is wavy thick hair with a little on the dry side. The shampoo and conditioner do a good job smoothing my hair and cutting down frizz, even in the tough Texas weather. My hair indeed felt softer and more manageable, though it doesn’t completely eliminate frizz on super-humid days. For everyday use, though, it makes a noticeable difference. As for value, it’s on the pricier side compared to drugstore brands, but a little goes a long way, and the results feel worth it if you struggle with frizz regularly. I wouldn’t call it a miracle product, but it does deliver solid results without weighing my hair down. If you want a dependable anti-frizz duo with great scent and packaging, this is definitely worth trying—just don’t expect perfection against Texas humidity.

A great shampoo for frizz

I tried Amika's Forget the Frizz shampoo hoping it would help with my thick, frizz-prone hair and honestly, it delivered on smoothness. My hair felt softer, shinier, and definitely more manageable, even on humid days. It’s super hydrating, which is great if your hair’s dry. Overall, it’s a solid pick for frizz control, especially if your hair is thick or coarse.

A great frizz-reducing shampoo

This shampoo has a clean, slightly citrus scent. It made my hair feel pillowy soft and I was very impressed. It spread through my hair easily which is important to me as a curly girl. I do think it reduced my frizz and it didn't make my hair feel too dry or stripped - it actually felt moisturised. I'm very happy with it and I think I'll continue to use it

Washes hair nicely

I have been using this for a while now and it smells nice, lathers up very well, and works well at reducing frizz when used with the anti-frizz conditioner. I have very thick and frizzy hair but this shampoo is great!
