Definitely there is a smell but not awful, minty sort of smell. many reviews will discourage you only if you are sensitive to smell in products otherwise i would highly recommend it for dry skin. very hydrating & illuminating. evilluminating.

What Is That Smell?!

If you are sensitive to smells, this is not for you. This has a fishy foul sour smell, so much I had to check the packaging to ensure it wasn’t expired.

LOVE this product. I was nervous about buying it because of the reviews talking about the smell, but I am so confused by those cause there is no bad smell. A bit of a floral scent, totally fine and fades if you don't like it, but I have no idea why so many people say it smells rancid. Literally just a standard floral-ish scent. Have had friends and my sister use it as well and everyone loves it. Anyway, the glow is AMAZING. Looks just like luminous skin, no sparkle. I use it as a highlighter on my cheeks and it is stunning. Your cheeks literally get the kind of glow that you see in like photoshopped magazines. One of my favorite products and I will def buy again!

Glow Up!

I absolutely love this primer! It makes my skin smooth and ready for makeup application. It also gives me a beautiful glow.

Received in a set. Honestly couldn't tell how well it worked because I couldn't tolerate the smell. Thought maybe I left it too long before trying and it went off, but other reviews seem to bear out the unpleasant smell - like musty towels. Had to wash it off almost immediately.

In contrast to other reviews, I love the smell-very clean and feminine smell. Gives such a beautiful dewy glow while also working as a primer for foundation. I love using this on vacation when I don't want to wear any makeup but still look vibrant!

LOVE this product!

I LOVE this product. It gives the perfect natural, dewy glow. It does have a subtle scent but I find it pleasant and fresh. A little goes a long way so you really only need half a pump or I find it gets a bit greasy. I have oiler skin so sometimes it doesn’t dry down as well as I would like, but I bet it would be great for dryer skin!

terrible smell

I almost exclusively buy BB makeup products which is why I was surprised to find this product so disappointing. The smell is awful and overrides any other positive elements of the product.

Awful Smell

Received a free sample and have used a few times. Seems kind of thick. I can't tell how effective it is yet, but the smell is so awful that I'm not even sure I can finish the small sample that I have.

This gives you a luminous yet subtle glow and feels very lightweight on the skin. Dries down nicely so skin is well prepped and moisturized without feeling tacky.

Great addition to skincare routine, for 30s—60s!

I love this stuff. I’m in my mid-30s and use it sparingly over my foundation. It helps add moisture & a delicate sheen without looking like an EDM highlighter party on my face. I gave sample to my mom who is in her early 60s & she loves it mixed into her favorite foundation. She says it helps give plumpness & brightening power to her foundation. She thinks it helps provide an extra barrier so her make-up doesn’t settle as much into fine lines around her lips, eyes, & forehead. I think it lights up her face without any contouring. We’re both hooked. (Also, I use straight from the bottle on non-cosmetic days, and under my SPF face cream when I camp during the summer, & it hydrates & makes my skin look a lot better in kayaking-selfies.)
