Best face cream money can buy

Truly the most luxurious nourishing amazing face cream. What La Mer wants to be. This is my fav face cream but a periodic luxury due to the cost. I do think the price is worth it (unlike La Mer). It is very nourishing, makes your skin look nourished, plump, radiant and with a natural glow from within. If you look at the ingredients it has ingredients that are truly good for your skin, rather than having ingredients that temporarily makes your skin look good. Best face cream I have come across, but unfortunately, due to the price, not something I use all the time lol but def a fav splurge

Heavy even for my dry skin

I wish I had bought it last winter when my skin was dry. I might buy something else little lighter for summer and use this one in winter. It's so heavy and sticky.

I’ve been using this cream for years and for me it is the best cream out there. Yes, it’s expensive, but I alternate with Tatcha Dewy Cream and Sisley Rose Oil. I’ve used many moisturizers but this remains my all-time favorite. I’ve reached the age that I have lines and wrinkles and I’m in the sun a lot, but this product keeps my skin moist and soft. Highly recommended.

Mom loves it

This créeme is part of my Christmas and/ or mother's day gift. Mom is a smoker so her skin is a bit dry. She is very light and simple on her morning routines, she loves putting this one on in the mornings and go on.

Not as good as I hoped....

I am 60 years old. I was so excited to try this cream after reading all the great reviews. I had my husband get this for me for Christmas. Sadly, I found that this wasn't moisturizing enough for me. At this price, I was expecting so much more. At least moisture throughout the night. But no. It is winter in California, and I'm having to use a moisturizing serum underneath and another heavier moisturizer on top of this one. I'm so disappointed and won't buy again. Save your money and buy something that really moisturizes. Even CereVe PM is better than this, and costs 1/10th the price. I'm so sad!

Not worth the price! It’s a very expensive primer at best! The application process did nothing matter it left your skin very oily and didn’t feel like it penetrated into the tissue. I only put this on as a night cream and in the morning my skin still felt very dry.

Not for me!

I really wanted to like this cream but it just wasn't right for my skin. While I do tend to have a hard time keeping my skin moisturized in the fall/winter, I am also pretty prone to clogged pores. The ingredients in this were ultimately way too heavy for my skin despite its dryness. Something to keep in mind for people with similar skin types!

better than La Mer

The most moisturizing cream I have ever used!!! I have extremely sensitive and dry skin and I live in Canada and this cream is definitely the life saver! I thought the classic La Mer cream was the best for sensitive and dry skin, but NO, I never bought La Mer again after I tried this

eczema savior

I have eczema. This product does not irritate the skin. Some days my face would peel and become red, using this almost instantaneously calm my skin. I highly recommend if you have eczema and dry skin, I use it everyday even in summer (but I live in a dry climate so the cream doesn’t feel heavy).

Skin savior in Winter

I have been using Creme Ancienne every winter since 6 years ago, and starting from last year I am using it every night even during Summertime. I have well maintained skin condition with combinition over T-Zone and dry cheeks, and I currently do not find it too greasy even during summer. My skin easily turns red and break out during the cold/windy winter in Canada. This cream works even better than La Mer for me in winter. Its texture is rich and solid to expand (high density), however gets absorbed very well once you warm it up a bit with hand and apply over face.Keeps my skin staying hydrated and soft all the time, and probably keeps the serum/concentrate that were applied before this work for longer time. I have used the soft cream version, but it does not keep my skin as hydrated as much. It is expensive but it takes care of your skin at a different level.

I previously had tried the creme a l’ancienne eye cream and loved it. So i gave a shot to their face creme and holy wow! I’m gonna go back for the bigger size!! It really penetrates the skin and moisturizes deeply! It made my forehead fine lines disappear!

I’ve waited a year to write a review for this. It took awhile to learn exactly how I wanted to use this product. Now that I have it figured out, if they keep the formula the same, I will buy this for the rest of my life. (Before I had it figured out I’d have rated 3 stars) It is undeniably the most uniquely textured cream/moisturizer I’ve ever come in to contact with. The scent is so delicate, so authentic to the ingredients, it’s a new happy-trigger smell for me. For how long it will last, this moisturizer is almost inexpensive. I found that a very very very small pea size is perfect for the day, but must be put on after my essence, and must be pressed in and not rubbed in. I use a powder foundation that can go on immediately after if I’m in a hurry. I have extremely sensitive, underhydrated, aging, combination skin. If only I were an author or poet, I would be able to express how thankful I am that I found and configured this product in to my life. (For the record, I don’t use any other fresh products because of the chemical ingredient list.). Please please please let them keep this product as it is- perfect for human skin. If you get this, and plan to figure out how your skin needs it, Take Before Pictures! Especially now that I use it constantly, the difference is shocking. I’ve never been complimented on my skin before- now it happens almost regularly. So bizarre. Again, I will beg, Please keep this product made the way it is. 10,000 thanks to fresh for making such a thing possible
