I am not a fan of this scent. It smells like men cologne!

Not good !

I bought this thinking that I was going to enjoy the scent because I usually love everything from Coco Chanel, but this perfume was way out of line for me. I am not a fan of this particular scent at ALL!

They must have changed the formula in the last few years. It’s slightly different then the last time I uses it 7 years ago. I’m. It sure I’ll buy it again.

Not what i was expecting

Hate it. Hate it so bad. It stanks. Wouldn’t even believe its chanel if it didn’t say it… so mad i waste my money on this.. im praying that if i mix it with my other chanel or gucci or ysl or any of my other fragrances it will smell better.

This is one of my favorite fragrances. Light not overpowering and fresh. Make sure I always have enough

I really like this. I went for the EDT because I got Coco Mademoiselle in the EDP & it gives me headaches. Coco makes me smell sophisticated & I think it will be a better choice for the workplace.

Smells like heaven!

My mom told me about this one she said I bet you’ll love it. I absolutely love this smell you can smell the amber, but with wear time you smell floral, a bit powdery which gives it an elegant smell. Vanilla makes it also a sweet smell and you have a woody and warm spice to it that gives you a high end smell. I would definitely recommend this is for a date night or gala event. I get so many compliments when I wear it!

Not For Me

I bought. I sprayed. Didn’t like it at all. I tried to give it off to one of my family members and they didn’t like it neither so I’m returning this one back. Earns 1 star for just arriving quickly.

Still the Sexiest Scent on the Block

While the original Coco is a 5 (even 6 star scent), the reformulations after bans of ingredients like oakmoss by EU organizations has left this work of art a little less authentic and deep (hence the four stars instead of five for the current formula). Yet, Coco is still one of the most daring and unapologetically sexy fragrances available. I wore this scent in my mid-twenties and it paired best with a black dress and heels, though I wore it with nearly everything and it boosted my confidence exponentially. I’ve re-discovered it at 40, and am wondering why I ever gave it up in the first place. For reference, I’ve loved gourmands, florals, floral orientals and spicy orientals, and Coco somehow checks all the boxes while still maintaining a distinct personality. While the aldehydes up top can sometimes be interpreted as “vintage,” they soon wear off and you’re left with beautiful heart and base notes that go on for days (well, about a day in the current oakmoss-free formulation). If you like Replica’s and Tom Ford’s gourmand scents but crave something a little more tempered and balanced that offers depth but doesn’t leave you with a vanilla hangover when the whole affair ends, Coco may be your gal. I fell in love with Coco Mademoiselle upon its release in 2002, then felt compelled to test Chanel No. 5 for reference and recoiled in horror from its soapy maturity. I picked up Coco with low expectations but was blown away. I still find No. 5 unwearable, but there’s never been anything “old lady” about Coco in my mind. I find the eau de toilette better captures the original Coco than the current eau de parfum formulation. Somehow, it longevity is better on my skin and the woods, sweetness and florals bloom more intensely. The EDP offers more spice but fades more quickly on me. Perhaps neither is a safe blind buy, but so worthy of a test if you’re seeking something unique, classy and overtly sexy. Nearly unisex, but florals keep this one feminine to my nose.

EDT instead of EDP for Spring and Summer

I'm hesitant to use the term, "Mature", due to it's unspoken pejorative meaning with many given the context, so I'm omitting that term from the vernacular in describing this. It has a good bit of attitude. Because it is a bit stronger than many I've opted for the EDT to wear during Spring and Summer. The scent is in my opinion good for most evening occasions and events. For example this is usually what I reach for when I meet with friends to watch karaoke or attend parties.
