I was initially skeptical, as I had tried L'Oréal's drugstore hair line and had a less-than-stellar experience as someone with curly hair. I'm pleased to try this hair mask and see how it benefits my hair. I was worried because of how thick it product product-wise, but a little goes a longgggg way!! My hairs never been more silky and hydrated and not to mention no frizz to be seen- which is unheard of with my curly hair!

The best hair mask ever!

I am absolutely in love with the L’Oréal Professional Absolut Repair Protein Treatment Hair Mask!! It has seriously completely transformed my hair. From the very first application, I noticed an incredible difference in how silky smooth and healthy my hair feels. My hair tends to get a little dry and a bit fragile from styling and daily wear, but this mask brings it back to life every single time I use it! It feels deeply nourishing without being heavy or greasy, leaving my hair soft, strong, and so much more manageable. I love how easy it is to apply and how luxurious it feels, almost like an at-home salon treatment. I’ve been using the L’Oréal Professionnel Absolut Repair Protein Treatment Hair Mask for a few weeks, and I’m honestly impressed. My hair is color-treated, prone to dryness, and gets frizzy easily, but this mask made a noticeable difference after the very first use. The texture is creamy and easy to apply—just a small amount goes a long way. I leave it in for about 5 minutes after shampooing, and when I rinse it out, my hair feels instantly softer and more manageable. Once my hair dries, it’s smoother, shinier, and feels much stronger with less breakage when I brush. What I love most is that it doesn’t weigh my hair down or leave it greasy like some deep conditioners do. Instead, it feels lightweight while still giving salon-quality results at home. Changed my hair for the better

Even thought this is a protein treatment, the moisturizing and hydrating component of this hair mask cannot be overlooked. Upon the first application, this product glided onto my hair. It provides a good amount of slip, so it was very easy for me to detangle my hair. The scent is a bit perfumey, very floral favored. However it is not overwhelming, and when rinsed out it barely lingers. When washed out, it still kept my hair moisturized. It was easy to continue my wash day, putting in my leave- in and my styles. Its not too heavy that it will weigh down your hair, but it's still thick. I recently had a cut of my damaged ends, but when I used this product before then, it still made those ends feel more manageable than they had in a while. It almost stopped my from cutting them. Product was received as part of an educational promotion.

Perfect for curly hair

This product was given in exchange for an honest review. I often look for products to strengthen and repair my 3c fine curly hair. Most protein treatments make my hair feel over processed or simply crunchy. I usually have to do a delicate balance between protein, deep conditioners and treatments. When I tried this, I was shocked and amazed that a protein centered product could provide my hair with strength but also softness and refinement. In one use, my curls bounced and didn't snag or snap, leaving luscious refined curls. My styling products went on smoother, my curls lasted longer and wash day wasn't so intimidating anymore. Absolut Repair Protein Mask

The L'Oréal Professionnel Absolut Repair Protein Treatment Hair Mask makes my hair feel so soft, strong, and healthy. It smooths my strands without weighing them down and adds beautiful shine that lasts. I’ve noticed less breakage and my hair looks much more resilient. This has become a must-have in my routine for keeping my hair nourished and helping it grow longer. I received it as part of an educational promotion.

I like this mask. It did make my hair very soft, but I don't think I noticed any additional shine. For reference, I have type 2C/3A curls (my hair stylist says it's 2C, but I insist it's both). I have dry, frizzy hair. I don't use any heat on it and it's not dyed. I didn't see any improvement in frizz, and I don't think it claims to take it away. The texture of the mask is thick and the smell is perfumey. The instructions say to put it on towel-dried hair, but I'm not washing my hair and drying it only to get it wet again when it takes 3+ hours to dry. I shampooed, squeezed the excess water out of my hair, and saturated my hair with the mask. I personally am not a fan of "slip" in my hair products which this has. It makes me feel like if the slip isn't gone, then the mask isn't washed out of my hair. What I did learn is that the silicone in this (amodimethicone) doesn't cause any buildup which I love. However, it has wax which does. This is a good, softening mask. I'd recommend it.
