This cleanser from Youth To The People has been everywhere on social media lately, and I totally get the hype—it’s packed with Vitamin C, Papaya enzymes, and a blend of gentle exfoliants that promise smoother, brighter skin 🍊 In this reel, I’m sharing a few clips and photos of the product itself—no demo this time, just a peek at the texture, packaging, and why it’s been getting so much buzz. It’s vegan, cruelty-free, and designed to be gentle... but here’s the truth: my sensitive skin didn’t love it. I experienced a bit of burning after use, so I had to pass it on. The twist? My husband loves it. It works beautifully for his skin and gives him that fresh, clean glow without any irritation. So while it didn’t work for me, I can still appreciate the formula and why it’s a favorite for so many.

Not for sensitive skin

I used this cleanser for a few weeks and it broke me out in cystic acne. I have very sensitive skin and it was probably too harsh. It made my skin smooth tho.

This is not for sensitive skin and probably shouldn’t be used daily. However, after using my skin feels texture free, just a tad on fire. I do not have sensitive skin but this left me irritated

Glow & Smoothness in a Bottle

Plus I still have enough product for another month of use. There is a purge/adjustment period where the skin can flake or peel, but I didn't see or experience discomfort, redness, or sensitivity. I love the glow this has brought to my skin and feel like it has helped support my goals of evenness and clarity. As far as efficacy and value for money, this is a great product that I'd recommend to anyone who does not have dry or sensitive skin. It isn't as strong as a prescription product, but a great, accessible option to combat dullness, discoloration, and mild ability to address texture issues.

I received this cleanser in a sample kit and used it for about a week and noticed a HUGE difference in my skin texture/acne. i have been struggling with hormonal acne and dark spots for about 8 months and this has helped so much already! just bought the full size of this

Allergic Reaction

I reccieved a sample of this face wash and my skin had an immediate allergic reaction. My neck and face got instantly itchy and dry. I threw it away and now two days after my lips feel swollen be careful if you are sensitive to perfumes. I also agree that it might be the ginger scent.

Good cleanser very exfoliating

Really wanted to love this cleanser but it definitely is not for sensitive or dry skin types. I thought being combo I would be safe but it’s a stronger exfoliating cleanser. Will continue to use this but only 2 x week at night.

Excellent active

Excellent exfoliant! This is strong and for oily congested skin, definitely not for sensitive or dry skin. Leave my skin silky soft and helped clear up my adult acne which was persistent.

Perfect for acne scars and skin texture. Do not recommend if you have really SENSITIVE SKIN. The AHA and BHA acids are no joke in this. This has made my skin glow and even out my skin tone. Love love love ! If you have sensitive skin I recommend using this just once a week at night !

Kinda burns (like really bad) but my skin looks really good
