Great aloe vera product

I'm trying this out alongside kojic acid to lighten up my body melasma. Will see how it goes. This is a great product providing the natural aloe vera benefits.

Incredible hydration workhorse

I think people really sleep on this one, but my skin loves it. It just drinks it up and I hardly need a dedicated moisturizer at all when I use it. I was a little dubious on the aloe percentage at first but apparently that's a concentrate and the effective amount of aloe in here is way higher. One of the few products I always want on hand no matter what.

MADE ME BREAKOUT

I was really hopeful for this product but unfortunately it broke me out exactly where i was trying to fade acne scars :( i would not reccomend. I have heard online that it mixes really badly with certain other skincare and can make irritating chemicals but idk so be careful guys I

Unsure of how to feel?

This product was recommended to me to help treat my red acne scars. I used it daily for about 2-3 weeks, and I did notice that my scars were lightening and looking less red. However, I noticed an intense flareup in my cystic acne during these few weeks. I could not get my acne under control, and had about 5 cysts on my chin at once (which is extremely abnormal for me). The only thing I had changed in my skincare routine was adding this product, so naturally I stopped using it to see if it was the culprit. After I stopped using it, my acne calmed down again, so this leads me to believe it was the serum causing my acne flareup. In conclusion; yes, the serum did a great job at helping to treat my red acne scars, however I think it made my acne worse. I don't recommend if you have sensitive and/or acne-prone skin.

Is it magic?

I have been using it for a few weeks and while it hasn't done anything for my post acne marks YET, my skin texture and uneven color have greatly improved! I believe it's magic! Will repurchase

Everyone should buy it

After just a few days of use my clogged pores were unclogging and dark spots that seemed firmly parked on my skin that vitamin C and tret weren't touching are almost totally gone. I don't believe in miracles, but I am very impressed and I wish someone could explain to me why this is working so well. The product advised it is for dry skin, but that just means it's gentle. Pick it up if you're oily and at the end of your rope like me-- it didn't irritate when used in combination with Salicylic acid and vitamin c in the am and topical tretinoin in the pm, and it's working so well so far, feels like a water on the skin.

Must have

When I first began using this solution I had a terrible breakout. I used it at night and the next morning my acne had significantly decreased. After a week of use my acne has all but cleared. It seemed to make my other products absorb better. I use hyaluronic acid after this product and it seems to make it more hydrating. The texture is more like water than like a thick oil. I would absolutely recommend this product

Not the best they have

I love The Ordinary but this was a miss for me. Saw zero difference and felt like this was a gimmick product. 3 stars because there was zero irritation and I love this brand. Perhaps will work on others!

This serum does wonders for my skin right away I notice it is much brighter and healthier-looking. Feels so soothing and hydrating as well.
