I naturally gravitate toward darker, heavier, smoky scents, and Elixir fits this direction perfectly. It feels deep, intense, and very confident, with rich spices, warmth, and a slightly mysterious edge that I really enjoy. The quality of this fragrance is impressive. The concentration is strong, the projection is powerful, and the longevity is excellent — a few sprays are more than enough. It unfolds beautifully on the skin and keeps its character for hours without becoming overwhelming or flat. For me, this is not just a “popular” scent, but a bold, well-crafted perfume with real presence. It feels luxurious, expressive, and a bit dramatic in the best way. Although it’s a men’s cologne I do wear them as a female, usually for night events. This is definitely a fancy night out scent that will last until the morning. I would recommend it.

This scent is very warm and woodsy and leaves a prominent scent trail. Spray lightly as it is very overwhelming! The redeeming quality for me is in the dry down. The scent stays after a few days and mellows to something nicer.

My Favorite Male Fragrance

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. Dior Sauvage Elixir is one of my favorite male fragrances since 2015. It is fresh and at the same time warm scent. Elixir is the most intensive among whole collection of fragrances. I would recommend to use it in the smallest amount. It may last for hours and even days. It fits to special occasions as well as for every day using. I feel bergamot and citrus, wood notes. I just love it🥰
