It was alright, my mom would definitely like it!

When I received these products I was so excited to try them! The lip balm works amazing I use it all the time day & night. The serum I am not too keen on I only used it at night & it seemed to irritate my skin a little bit. Moisturizer worked fine I used it at night mostly, didn’t noticed a difference in texture or softness of my skin; the moisturizer can also be used as a face mask which is really nice! These are great!!

Ok let’s start with moisturizer. It definitely left me feeling moisturized and rejuvenated. It doesn’t leave that “heavy” feel some other brands do. It’s small enough if you wanna take it on the go for any emergency dry spots. Now for the serum, id say this the more WOW item. The serum and moisturizer combined you can notice a difference but id be willing to bet the serum paired with your favorite moisturizer brand will also give that brightening, glowy effect on your skin. I believe the serum is more of the “must have” item, if you’re need a change of pace. I more than likely will change from Mad Hippie to Clinique’s. Now lastly for the lip balm, it wasn’t sticky and it did leave my lips feeling good. I live in an area where I can see -20 wind chill and been colder so this was something I was incredibly grateful to have on hand (lol) and it’s so small that it fits just about anywhere! This set is a great skincare kit. The lipgloss is tiny though I wish it came in a bigger size the rest of the products are okay size wise. A nice serum and the cream is a good thickness to keep you moisturized. I received this product for free from Clinique for testing and review purposes.

Amazing kit to try

Since this kit has three products I’ll review each one separately. The moisture surge hydrates : 4/5 This is a gel based cleanser that sinks into the skin. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and works well on dry skin. It would probably be more suited for oily since it is gel. It also leaves a slightly tacky film on the face. But it does the job! Moisture surge serum: 5/5 I’ve been looking for a serum that brightens the face and this one certainly does it! It works great as a gentle exfoliator which means after using it your skin is super soft. I really love this product in particular from the set. Moisture surge lip treatment: 5/5 This is a lip balm. I glad i got Clinique active kit. I absolutely fell in love with the lip balm. It's was super hydrating and felt good on my especially when i was really sick and my lips were beyond chapped. I have previously used the 100hr moisturizer and have always loved it. I get extremely dry skin in the winter and it hydrates and absobs the best. Unfortunately, the serum can be a little harsh if used everyday. It did absorb into my skin very nicely but, Any time i used it more than two day in a row my skin would just feel super sensitive. I only get like that with over exfoliation. I would alway use hydrating products with it. Now it works great with an every other day routine. Great Kit
