Lash Idôle Curl Goddess - Mascara courbe & volume instantanés

Long lasting and natural, but not very dramatic

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I received the Lancôme Lash Idôle Curl Goddess Mascara to try and I had mixed feelings. The packaging is sleek and easy to handle and the brush separates lashes well for a clean, natural look. The formula feels lightweight and doesn’t clump easily. However, the effect is quite subtle on the first coat. It takes a few layers to build noticeable volume, and even then the look stays more natural than dramatic. For a luxury mascara, I expected a bit more immediate impact. What impressed me the most was the wear. After about eight hours, I noticed far less smudging compared to many mascaras that give me more volume, but transfer under my eyes. If long wear and minimal smudge are a priority, then this could be a good option.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I LOVE this mascara! The curved, twisty brush really grabs your lashes and makes them “pop”! I’ve found that it works best if you apply in a “twisting” motion. My ONLY complaint is that the product is very THICK. In some ways, this is good, but I have found myself getting large amounts of product in my eyes while applying.

My Take on Lancôme Goddess

I finally tried the Lancôme Idôle Curl Goddess mascara and I really like it. It gives such a nice lift and curl and my lashes look fuller and more fanned out without needing a curler. It also holds all day without falling flat. Only con is you have to wiggle the wand into your lashes when applying. If you just swipe it on, it can leave little clumps. Once I started wiggling from the root up, it went on much smoother and looked great.

Good Mascara, Not a Stand Out

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This mascara is middle of the road for me. It is lengthening, adds volume, and looks beautiful on application. I found that there was a learning curve with the wand; it took me a few uses to really find what application works best with the twisted bristles on the curved wand. If I used more than one coat of mascara, it would get clumpy. One coat was enough to provide a good result with lasting impact. The wear was upsetting though because it flaked and smudged through the day. By the end of the day, I often had flakes on my lower eyelids (no application to lower eyelashes) and smudges on my upper eyelids.

Disappointing

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I really wanted to love this mascara, but the wand is so twisted that it makes it so hard to evenly apply without getting all over the lid. Cant really sculpt lashes. The formula seems very good, and the tube itself it so fancy and chic. The twisted wand was a good idea, but not executed properly because the wand isn’t even.

Good, natural separation

It doesn't give me thr most dramatic look, but gives nice separation and a nice natural look. It never felt heavy or thick. I also wish it held my curl better, but I have that issue with most mascara. Overall, the tube is beautiful, the wand is great and I would use it again

Nice Look, Application Not So Easy

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I really like this Lacomb mascara. This is not a brand I typically buy when it comes to mascara but I’m glad I got to sample this because I will most likely buy it in the future. I really liked the curl of that that the 40° wand creates it looks like I used a lash curler without using one. It gave me some good length, but I did have to use a few layers to feel like I was getting good volume and definition. However while I liked the 40° wand it is a little bulky and awkward to use and I find myself getting mascara on my lids while applying it And it can be really clumsy trying to get the curl motion just right. Your lashes don’t connect to it as easily as the ads for it would make you believe. It’s buildable and even after putting on a few layers it still feels really light which I really love about it. It clumps a little bit but it was really minor and I liked how it sand out my eyelashes really well. It is not waterproof though which makes removal really easy with a make up remover wipe or just some micellar cleansing water it only takes about 15 seconds to come off but it does smudge really bad in the process- definitely wouldn’t suggest wearing this to a wedding where you might be crying! Overall I really liked the book this mascara creates I think the wand is a really cool concept and appreciated the easy removal, however the wand definitely has some work to do with it being bulky and difficult to get the hang of using easily. You might find yourself passing to remove mascara from your eyelids and the skin around your eyes while applying and having to apply a few layers. So the time it saves you by not having to use a lash curler is definitely time that will be spent on applying the mascara to get the perfect look- worth it? I’m not sure.

Lasts all day even in the snow

I love this mascara because my lashes are naturally straight and shapeless, and it's hard to give any form. Lancôme curl goddess exceeded my expectations, it provides great volume and a real lift thanks to its curved brush design. Now is my favorite mascara, especially during winter because it stays put all day long despite the snow. The best part is that it doesn't flake, so I don't have to clean my eyelids like I usually do with other mascaras, I applied it in the morning and it lasted until the night without any issues. Definitely worth a try!

Noticeable lift that looks natural

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Amazing curl in just a few swipes. Lashes look lifted and separated with no flaking or smudging. Beautiful packaging. And as you can see lift is noticeable but still looks natural, not overdone. Exactly what I wanted.

Ok mascara!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Appreciated this mascara. Gave good coverage, though a bit wet and coating too quickly can cause a mess. Does dry down well, and didnt cause me to have raccoon eyes which is a plus. Packaging is lovely and I do like the handle feels well in hand and easy to apply. A nice dark black. Didnt take forever to remove either. Overall it did what it was intended, not perfect, but not bad.

This is not one of Lancome’s better mascaras. The brush seems to collect access mascara on the end, and I. ’m not sure what they were trying to create here I much prefer the.L’idole one. No need to try and create another mascara when the l’idole one is perfect.
