Instant Look In A Palette Stoned Rose Beauty - Palette Visage et Yeux

Good quality and I love how pigmented the shadows are! I would just say for what it is, the price is a bit steep. I am able to get some gorgeous looks out of this pallete, though, and convenient if you travel and want something more compact.

my favorite instant look in a palette!

This is my fourth CT ‘Instant Look’ palette, and I’d have to say it’s my favorite so far. When I saw the name ‘stoned rose beauty’ I thought oh no not another pinky-wine colored palette, but thankfully it’s not. The shadows are (left to right) a very pale gold shimmer, a medium bronze satin and a medium neutral mauvey-taupe matte. The crease color isn’t as dark as the ones in my other instant look palettes, but I have zero problems with the eyeshadow pigmentation. This version creates a very natural day look that’s flattering for pretty much everyone in the fair and light skin tone ranges. It’s too light for medium and deep skin tones. The neutral bronzer in the Stoned Rose Beauty palette has tiny little sparkles in the pan, but I can’t see them on my face (my other palettes all have a matte bronzer, so this is new) the cheek colors are so pretty! The pink highlight shimmer color gives an ethereal glow, and the neutral rose pop color is gorgeous and pigmented, i just need to tap my brush in it. The highlighter is the same as most of my other palettes - a very flattering light champagne with no glitter. FYI If you have a medium or deep skin tone - they have a deeper Instant Look in a Palette version called Look of Love - Glowing Beauty. It may be exclusive to the CT site, which is why Sephora isn’t carrying the ‘Look of Love’ versions. I don’t understand reviewers that say these palettes have no pigmentation. All four of mine have fantastic pigmentation and the shadows apply like a dream, they’re perfect for beginners as they’re so easy to blend. These aren’t palettes to create dramatic looks; they’re aimed at those who want to wear flattering but natural looks. All you need is this palette, an eyeliner, lippie, brow pencil and mascara, and you’re good to go (unless you wear foundation of course).

Perfect For Mature Skin!

At first I didn’t like the eyeshadows until I started using a drop of Hourglass’ serum number 28 on the shadows to intensify color and also help smooth my eye wrinkles. I’m light to medium skin tone and can use every color in this palette. I don’t like all matte palettes cause I feel it makes my mature skin look dull and flat. This palette has the perfect amount of shimmer without the glitter. Looks so pretty in sunlight. I also use Lancôme’s Le Stylo eye pencil in black on the waterline to add definition to the lashes when using this palette. This is truly a perfect travel palette. I removed one star only because I think it is overpriced for the amount of product.

Not enough pigment or contrast.

While the idea is brilliant, I found there was not enough pigment in this palette for me. The colors all just sort of blended together and disappeared.

don’t waste your money

This product made me look like I had jaundice. The only nice thing about this palette is the cheek “pop.” The cheek pop was pigmented and looked cute. I wanted this palette for the longest time but the color payoff is just not there and I’m so disappointed :(

BEST WARM CONTOUR GLOW SET, EASY STEPS! 5 STARS!

Best contour glow set out there! Something about these colors just give me THE warmest glow to my makeup and skin! I start by using the Fenty body sauce tinted glow moisturizer and then contour with this and omg it looks SO good! Favorite product EVER. I was sad when it was stolen out of my car, but I love it so much I am ordering a new one! 5 stars!!

Not for me

Overall, I think it's designed for medium warm toned skin, not my shade though I thought I would love it. the cheek colors and bronzer are somewhat too dark for me, eyeshadows are lil too warm which doesn't really match my neutral skin tone. should have spent money on separate items.

Charlotte Tilbury, Instant Look In A Palette: Ston

I purchased Charlotte Tilbury's Instant Look In A Palette because I thought it would make for a simple (and guided) compact, that I could use easily. As it turned out, for me, I've found the following: - The color inserts are somewhat small for some of the different brushes that need to be used, which ends up often blurring colors together - The Bronze color is much darker compared to the Highlight color, and was a bit difficult to blend - The different powders vary in their consistency to go on and to last I doubt I would purchase this particular Instant Look brand again; however, I'd be open to trying another brand or palette of this type in the future. Two stars: I still occasionally use it for my eyes

Pretty colors but it doesn't work with with my skin tone like I thought it would.

needs more shades

I love the idea. And more companies should come out with all-inclusive palettes like this, but please offer a better shade range

Great Travel Palette

I bought this to minimize my makeup bag for traveling, and generally loved it. The face portion alone I would give 5 stars- great pigment, super blendable and all colors looked great on my light/medium skin tone. The eye shades didn’t really do it for me though, the first two were okay but overall they lean a little mauve/purple and not as neutral as I’d hoped. Regardless, I do think the palette was a good value and it was super nice to have all these products in one small compact.

The shade selection is not good. It could use a darker eye shade in my opinion. It is just boring to me.
