After a few uses, I am really loving this product! This does set my make up matte but it is still hydrating like the name suggests so I don’t mind it as I am not a fan of matte finish as a dry skin girly. The #1 thing which one me over was the transfer resistance. As a brown skin girly, my partners white shirts hate to see me coming but when I set my make up using this product and accidently brushed my face against his white shirt, there was literally no transfer to my surprise! Great for dry, or combination skin!

I applied this in the morning after doing my regular skincare and makeup routine. The scent is subtle and not overpowering. It did not have that uncomfortable drying feel that some setting sprays do. I have combination skin, my forehead tends to be oily but my cheek and mouth area is more dry. This did not dry me out, or make me more oily which is a score for combination skin! A Must Have For All Skin Types

I have always struggled with finding a product that works with my combination skin, I usually am battling oilly skin with most sprays I try; However, the Mac Fix+ Stay Over setting spray has kept my foundation on, and DRY, I don't even feel a hint of oil on my face, not to mention the fragrance was very soft and not overhwelming at all. new fav setting spray

I have to say, I was genuinely impressed by this product, and I really put it to the test on my first use. I had to do my makeup on the Amtrak train on my way to a concert. I was able to use it to wet my beauty blender and get more impact out of a glitter shadow, which was nice. I have sensitive skin, and this felt non-bothersome. I never noticed any redness. The mist on the bottle is nice. I set my makeup around 2:30 on the train and loved the finish. It still looked great for pictures around 7. I didn’t manage to wash my face that night, and my makeup still looked fine in the morning. 10/10. highly recommend. This setting spray is nice and fine when the sprayer works well. It helped with creasing on my concealer under my eyes and seemed to help my makeup last through out the day.
