I have fine hair that tends to get oily at the scalp, and this shampoo really delivers. It keeps excess oil in check without leaving my hair feeling stripped. I do reach for a conditioner or detangler after, as it can leave my lengths needing a bit more slip. The scent is soft and lovely, which makes the whole wash feel like a small luxury rather than just maintenance.

This is my third formula of living proof shampoo so far- I am a big fan of the product but I do find this one is difficult to lather up. Other than that it cleans great and smells really nice. Would buy again!

this is perfect for days where i feel like my hair needs a refresh!! i'd use this at least once a week as someone with oily hair. it cleans out build up without stripping my hair. it's like a detox and leaves my hair looking and feeling clean.

This clarifying shampoo is a detox that my hair needed. I use this when my hair is either extremely oily, dirty, just in need of a total refresh. Usually, I use this one to two times every two weeks. The best thing you can do after using this is to follow up with a nourishing conditioner or oil to add some oils back into the end of your hair.

Amazing formula

This is an excellent clarifying shampoo! I love that it actually gets everything out of my hair , leaving it super clean but doesn’t leave it feeling dried out after. This is a total must have for me now!

Removes buildup but not color

I love how light and airy this shampoo makes my hair feel. It effectively removes all the product buildup from my hair. It even gets out my waterproof scalp retouch powder. The first wash doesn’t create a lot of lather, but the second wash really delivers, leaving my hair and scalp feeling deeply clean. It doesn’t dry out my hair or strip my toner at all, which I really appreciate. The formula is pleasantly thick, and overall it’s a pleasure to use.

Deep clean for greasy gals

I use clarifying shampoo 1-2x a week due to my very greasy scalp. I’ve never tried one with activated charcoal that makes the product black and I was also really intrigued by the thick cream to liquid formula. This does do a really great job of cleansing and I didn’t do a double wash in the shower that I normally do and I still felt just as clean. The cream formula is nice to lather and I wonder if thats what stops this from being too harsh and stripping.

I like that this shampoo has a minty feeling after lather and rinse my scalp. Overall my scalp feels clean and refreshed so it does exactly as it should. Always been a fan of living proof and their lines!
