It did help with brassy tones. Lightly though. However; what made me dislike this product, is that it made my hair feel very dry after application. I blow dried it and my hair usually is soft after blow drying it. Not the case with this. Unfortunately returning

Minimal Impact

I'd say the effect of this product is rather modest. In other words, I observe some improvement in terms of brassiness, but it's minimal, and therefore not worth it to me to repurchase. I have wondered whether other products I am using interfere with its effectiveness. I apply this before I apply any other hair products (like my leave-in conditioner and root-thickener), so I assume that insures it will "take," but without more detailed instructions, I don't really know. So, perhaps it will work better on others than it does on my hair, depending on the use of other hair products and/or the severity of the brassiness. It also did have a drying effect on my hair.

Confused by the raving reviews about this product. I found it to be very sticky and did nothing for me as far as toning brassiness.

Color controlling foam

I have naturally dark brown girl. I usually get honey blonde highlights in the summer to give my hair some depth. My highlighted hair usually gets brassy about a month after getting it done. This mousse was easy to use, just shake the bottle, put some in your hands and disperse it in your hair. Once I blow dried my hair, I noticed it was alot less brassier and blended in better with my natural hair until I can go to the salon again. I recommend this to anyone with color treated hair.

Nice styling foam

I received the Color Control Blue Toning + Styling Foam for Dark Hair from Color Wow for testing purposes and I love it. It's a very light weight, watery formula that smells divine. It's not sticky and it gives your hair some nice bounce. I do not currently have colored hair so I can't speak on how it neutralizes "brazziness"; however, it's a nice styling foam that I would recommend.

This is gifted by ColorWow. This product has no effect on natural black hair. I feel that it must have dyed the hair to have an effect, but unfortunately I don't. I'm going to dye a darker color later. Although it's not suitable, I also tried it. This product is blue foam, it won't dye it on your hands, and it's not sticky. It feels good.

good to neutralize brassy hair

My natural hair type is wavy and dry. and has gone brassy from colouring. And this product is totally helping me to neutralize it.this was complimentary. it differs from other products because it protects my hair too

Great for Styling

I received Color Wow Color Control Blue Toning + Styling Foam complimentary by Color wow. The color wow color control is a foamy mousse that you use after the hair is dry after shampoo and conditioner. The foam has a bluish tint to help eliminate brassy orange tones in the hair. This kind of product is for brown and dark hair. I like that there is no mess to clean up and you can leave it in the hair without having to rinse it out. Also, works great for styling the hair and keeping hair from being frizzy. The scent is a little strong but it goes away after it dries in the hair. I would use this again since this helps masks the orange tones in my hair and gives bounce to my hair when I style it.

Great product

Gifted by color wow My naturally brunette hair turns brassy from coloring and that can be such a bummer to deal with in between treatments . I recently found out about this gem and was super excited to give it a try because I already use color treatment shampoo but this is something that you use during your styling which helps to neutralize the brass and I have to say it makes a noticeable difference . I find as I’m using it that day the orange tones are far less apparent which works for me as I’m going out and about when I would be most worried others might see those tones

After dying a Demi black a few months ago (2020 was not the year of emotional stability) I had washed it back close to natural but was left with red/Orange tones. Tried a bleach bath, which made it worse. This toned everything back to a natural color and now I can let it all grow out without touching. I like that I can use it more or less to keep the tone I like, without another harsh process. Easy to apply and didn’t stain my hands. So happy I bought.

Dark hair must!

Wow I didn’t even know this product was a thing. I dyed my hair to a dark color a few weeks back and after using this product- I saw a diff in the color. It brought back the original dark tone I had before. I didn’t even notice it started to fade out and change. Because prior I had highlights and everytime I went dark it would slowly fade back into the highlights color but brassy.
